Burgers were pink on the inside.
There was specific employee that made our experience so bad that we will never return, a younger blonde with glasses, a red bow and a nose piercing. I stopped her and showed her my husband and sons burgers were not cooked and she snatched them and mumbled something as she walked away. I followed behind her because I could tell she was upset and I guess she didn’t know I was behind her she immediately starts cussing to her co-workers so I asked somebody to grab her for me I confronted her and asked her what is the problem and why is she cussing and had such a bad attitude she looked shocked! I was a server for 20 years. I understand that servers are not the person that prepares the food. I was not mad at her at all. I was very nice and understanding. I don’t understand what her attitude was for. Finally, we got our burgers and this time they were cooked, but all the toppings were wrong. There was onions and other veggies on my burgers. I didn’t even say anything. We just fix them our self and took the toppings off. Halfway thru I took my son to the restroom and passed an older lady who was getting her beverages from the same blonde employee who was rude to me and I over heard the lady ask the employee about her other beverage and the employee shouted at her “ I ONLY HAVE TWO HANDS” I couldn’t understand the rest but I could tell the poor lady was embarrassed. My family will never return this was a terrible experience.

One of those restaurants where you order at the counter, pour your own beer, but when you pay wants to know if you want leave a 25% tip. Other than that, great food at a reasonable price and friendly staff.

Great place to watch some sports. Draft beer selection is great, service was awesome, some cheap food selections available. Food could be improved, it was good but basic frozen patties, and a basic bun for the burgers, fries are the same french fries you see in a lot of places pre breaded frozen fries.

Auggie's is a decent place. I'm guessing the draft beers are the draw. The burgers were good. But I'm not sure I'd use the word gourmet to describe them. They are very friendly and efficient. Also dog friendly outside. So for me that's a plus. I will go back knowing what to expect.

The food was really good, especially their cheeseburgers. The fries were fantastic as well. I like they were deep fried very tasty. The only thing was the table and chairs. Most of the chairs they have, have no backings. This made it very uncomfortable to sit there for a long period of time. Other than that great place to stop by and grab a beer and something to eat.

The self serve beer wall by the ounce is a good idea. Let's you try a couple of different beers. Nothing special about the food. Frozen thin burgers. Just heated up food that you could easily make at home.

If you NEED a burger this is the place. Nothing fancy just a dam good burger and fries. Then there is the beer, a ton on tap.
This place is located in the heart of Downtown St Augustine. So, I should have been ready for a mediocre experience. The Jr Auggie Bacon Burger with Fries, a Large Pepsi, and a chocolate chip cookie was $31! The burger was okay. There was a small handful of fries that were just okay. They were a bit cold and soggy. So, they felt like they had been sitting for a bit.
The best part of eating there was that the air conditioning was nice and cool in the building on a hot day.
As a local resident to St Augustine I will choose Auggie as a last resort. There are other counter service restaurants in town that have good food for a much better value.

Cool place. Food is just alright. Burger is kind of meh. The pour it yourself tap idea is fun. The beer was all a little flat though. Nice folks.

When I saw the self serve tap wall, I thought this was going to be quite the experience. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. First, you need to understand the process. When you come in and select the tap wall, you provide a credit card, and at that time are given an RF card that registers your purchases as you draw them. The beers are charged by the ounce, and the cost can climb quickly. They advertize 24 taps, but when I went, 6 of them were out or inoperable. Furthermore, the majority were IPAs, which is not my thing. I eventually found a lager that looked interesting, so I placed my register card on the tap and drew out less than half a cup to try it - at a total of $4.85 for less than half a beer! This one was $0.85 per ounce, so I likely got between 5 to 6 ounces. Not worth it to me, so I closed out and found a place around the corner where I could get a full beer of my choice - and a cigar - for just $4 more.
