Eight of us senior citizens in our '80s enjoyed our evening at Aunt Kate's. We all had different things, two of us had the meatloaf which was exceptional and the sauce that they served with it made it even better, it was like diced tomatoes with onions and it was so delicious, and the meatloaf itself was two nice-sized individual loaves, all very very delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food. I think some of them had shrimp and others had fish and all of the dishes were very very good. We ate inside but were able to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the deck right outside. The service was very good and everyone was friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our evening there.
Came in for a lunch based on a suggestion from Molly ar the Oldest store. Steamed oysters wer delicious! So was everything else! But the oysters...sat outside and enjoyed the view of the water. Wait staff was more than helpful and accommodating! Would definitely recommend!

Went for lunch had not been in a long time , the worst food and service I have had in a very long time ! 2-3oz peice of fish and one side 34.99$ waitress disappeared for long periods of time ! Left hungry and upset ! Not what I went there for !

Aunty Kate got something going on here. High marks on every metric. Upon entering we were greeted with friendly and welcoming hosts. Pretty cool decor and family pix made it homely. Our server George was great. Food was great! i rank their crabcake #1 out of the 20 plus establishments I've tried in Florida. Their bread appetizers are dangerous pumpkin & cornbread were so good. Their water was filtered too. Some restaurants just serve straight tap which can taste nasty. Stake fries are dangerously good. We tore them up. My kids devoured their hamburger and shrimp kids meal. Wife's grouper sandwich good. Pop's pasta was good. Their mixed drinks were good. Mom's dessert was good, I think it's the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Price good.

Highly recommend this restaurant, it has a wonderful back porch on the river with a great vibe. Our food was fantastic and the service was just as good. The first night we didn't get to see the sunset,but after such a great meal we decide to go again. Ended up at same table with same waitress. Aoife our waitress was on top of everything truly made our visit memorable right down to the beautiful sunset. Definitely don't miss this place.We will be back for sure the next time we are in St. Augustine.

Aunt Kate's was the best seafood my husband and I have had so far in our 8 days in Florida. The St. Augustine Shrimp (husband) and Shrimp and Grits (me) were delicious. We'll be back before we leave the area.

We was out on our boat and decided to stop by for lunch. My husband and I split the Cobb salad. It was delicious 😋 and plenty of it. Service was good and we sat outside so it was fabulous.

Not pleased with their shrimp and grits...waitress and mgr listened to my complaints,also served sloppily with big smear on grits on rim of bowl,not nicely presented...mgr did take it off our bill,offered free chowder...we will go back when passing thru area tho!
