I was so excited to go because I have heard so much about how good it was. Very disappointed. I ordered seafood platter. It was meh. Sweet potato fries was my side and they arrived cold. The seafood platter was not worth the price. We had to fight flies while trying to eat also. I definitely will not go back.

I've come here multiple times and if I'm being honest I cant resist getting the coconut shrimp each time. They are so sweet and tasty with the perfect amount of crunch. The waiters are always friendly and wasn't too loud inside either. I would also recommend their vegetables and hush puppies. You also get a free basket of delicious breads (pumpkin, corn bread, and a Johnny cake bread). Definitely enjoyed my experience here!

We happened to stumble on Aunt Kate's while staying on Vilano Beach right after hurricane Milton went through Florida. The restaurant has a limited menu due to previous power outages, but the menu offerings were outstanding.
We sat outdoors at the picnic tables along the river and had a lovely view of the sun setting over St Augustine. There is also a pier at this location and the local fishermen were also entertaining to watch.
Even though this restaurant is tucked away off the usual touristy thoroughfares of the St Augustine area, expect to pay tourist prices for meals and cocktails.

Great laid back place on the intracoastal. I had a Cobb salad which was huge ... More than enough for two people.

It is a unique place, the energy of this place is special, it gives it that ancient touch and being able to eat on the banks of the Tolomato River where so many people from the beginning of the 20th century also did. If you read its history, it is more than 100 years old. We loved the food! ?

They have indoor out door dining right on the water. Food was okay. Nothing super special. Prices were ridiculous though. 25 bucks for 12 shrimp seems extreme. Should have known better though, once we walked in. Smelled like dirty dish towels inside. Then led to a picnic table on the water. No ambient lighting though, picnic table is uncomfortable. Would we go back? That's a hard no.
