Had dinner here with a group of friends the other night and was pleasantly surprised the atmosphere isn't much to speak of however that is well offset by both the service the staff and the cuisine. I had the blue crab cobbler as an appetizer along with toast points it was quite tasty. The beef short rib Ragu is also outstanding. Other dishes that rank right up there are the paella, the frenched chicken, the filet and the rigatoni. Seems you can't go wrong here. The wait staff is friendly attentive courteous and always Johnny-on-the-spot. Try it I think you'll like it.UPDATED: 7/22/22. They now have an extensive steak menu that rivals any fine steakhouse although you best prepare yourself for the increased prices.UPDATED 1/23/24. Ordered the pork chop and while I asked for medium rare it leaned A LOT more towards rare had a significant amount sinew, grizzle and fat and was quite difficult to cut. Not my best meal here. They also seemed to be a bit understaffed as one waiter was handling all the tables. He was a nice enough guy, quite pleasant, however I had to get up and go to the bar to get a refill cocktail & we also ran out of water.Parking: Parking is by valet

We were going to eat here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. We did not realize this was just a small restaurant part of the hotel lobby. Upon arrival we were nicely greeted and sat at our reserved table. But shortly after we realized this was not the ambience we were hoping for, especially for a fine dining experience. My boyfriend and I love to fine dine. The server passed us off to the bartender after greeting us so he could go home. Then when the bartender came over we kindly let him know we were going to leave. No reason necessary. He immediately suggests that we could get the family style meals to share. Seemingly assuming we could not afford to eat there and that’s why we were leaving. A little unprofessional for a high end place. Not sure we will ever try this restaurant.

Went for Christmas buffet for 6pm seating. Choices were good but Hot food wasn't hot, service was good. Got flat soda but they replaced that. They had prime rib, turkey and lamb. It would have been nicer to have a carving station. 25% tip added to the bill for a buffet is a bit high. Some of the food tasted like it was cooked earlier in the day. I expected better for the price we paid.

Quite little place with very good Prime Beef.Enjoyed a very tender and perfectly cooked piece of Beef Filet, and it was delightful. The sides were also well prepared and the presentation was on par with fine dining. This is a yes !

Came in around 9:20 on a Friday to be told they weren’t open. I explained that online it was posted open 7:00am- 10:00pm. She insisted that they were closed at 9pm and they actually opened at 10am and that must be where I got mixed up. Kind of lame to lie just because the kitchen didn’t want to stay open until close.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The wait staff is friendly and efficient, the menu has choices for meat and fish lovers. The catch of the day can be prepared so many ways, it's hard to decide. I also enjoyed the good selection of wines by the glass since I didn't want the same wine with my appetizer and entree. From starter to dessert, the food was superb!

Visited on Thurs 11/2/2023 "Pasta" night. Apparently every Thursday is pasta night, as well as a regular menu to choose from. I chose the pasta, which was very bland with no seasoning. The restaurant was out of all salad dressings with the exception of Caesar and their vinaigrette. Have to save for the price point of this establishment, the food should have been better. The service was slow and mediocre at best. My mother and I were the only ones in the restaurant at that particular time, and it should not have been slow at all. May try another day to see if it's any better this was my second attempt
Chef Coby knocked it out of the park with this stunning and absolutely delicious tasting Tomahawk steak. Thanks for coming out to the table and checking up on us. It was such a treat.Additionally we want to thank Sharaz the waitress, who was super friendly and helpful. She also was our server for breakfast and pasta night. Thank you!!!

Aviles is a restaurant located inside of Hilton's Bayfront location. Chef Coty prepared the best crab cake I've ever had, and the herbed butter that comes with the warm crusty bread is such a treat. The bartender, Ed, did a fantastic job of crafting me his signature drink - The Hendericks Refresher - it was the perfect accompaniment to my crab cake. The restaurant area doesn't have much ambiance which may thwart potential visitors, but the food is quite good. My only suggestions would be to improve/expand the wine list so that it matches the quality of the food, and to improve the ambiance of the dining area.
