I was on a walk on Thursday and stopped by as a young man named Pier (spelling is probably wrong, sorry) asked if I wanted a sample. I could see in that moment something troubled him. I won't go into that publicly but we had a talk and he just needed someone to listen and feel in that moment with him. He was so friendly and kind and though he was struggling, he was trying his very best. I want to thank the team for hiring such a compassionate young man. This world is full of enough ugly, be kind to each other. I hope to see him again soon on my next walk

Historic St. Augustine is made for walking—including lots of cute places to rest for snacks and to hydrate on hot summer days. Ben's Soft Pretzels was the perfect afternoon rest spot.

Used to love this place. Then the quality started to become inconsistent. On top of that they started charging $2 for a little cup of beer cheese and $1 for the others that all used to be free with a purchase.
Ok. Maybe start at $.50 and work your way up if it's a cost issue. Just seemed like a sudden and greedy move.

We were on our family vacation in Saint Augustine, FL this week and heard about Ben’s Soft Pretzels. I heard that their pretzels were big and delicious so my husband took me there. We went with his brother and wife and wow! The area were very busy and hopping! There were so many shops and things to see! We went on a Saturday afternoon so that’s why it was busy. My husband went on a weekday and he can easily find a parking spot. Since we went on a weekend, we had to park far and paid $20 for a parking spot! If you want to browse around the area, go on a weekday. But if you like the busyness, go on the weekend.

I got their Garlic Parmesan pretzel and it was so good! Of course you can’t just order one, we ordered four pretzels (some for family members). I believe it was $7 per pretzel, but it was worth it. It was huge! We had to wait for a few minutes because they were out of the original pretzel and had to make it. The wait was no longer than 7-8 minutes for some freshly made pretzels! The wait was worth it!

So if you’re vacationing in Saint Augustine and around Saint George Street, check out some shops and definitely stop by Ben’s Soft Pretzels! You won’t be disappointed! Check out their different types of toppings and seasoning!

Family business vibe. Absolutely fantastic pretzels. Great quality. Would choose Ben’s over any chain. We had the regular and cinnamon/sugar. Both breast.

We stumbled upon this pretzel spot and it completely exceeded our expectations! The pretzels were fresh, perfectly golden, and had that irresistible chew…whether you’re a fan of classic salted, cheesy, or sweet cinnamon sugar, they’ve got something for everyone.

But what really sets this place apart is the garden behind it. It’s absolutely beautiful—lush greenery, blooming flowers, cozy seating, and just the right amount of shade. It felt like stepping into a little secret escape, perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone with your snack.

The staff was friendly and the service was super quick. If you’re ever walking along St. George Street and want great pretzels and a peaceful place to enjoy them, this spot is a must-visit.

Don’t miss the Secret Garden!! While they are famous for their delicious soft pretzels, pretzel dogs and stackable pretzel bites, this is home to one our our hidden gems here in St. Augustine. After you order you freshly prepared snacks walk through the shop to the beautiful shaded garden out back.

Occasionally you can even catch some great live music here in the Secret Garden as well. Enjoy this little break from the hustle and bustle of St. George Street!

Our favorite place in downtown St. Augustine. The pretzels are incredible and there is the best sitting area out the back of their shop. Perfect for taking a minute to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of St George street.

Stopped for a cold drink to get out of the sun. The garden tucked behind Ben's Soft Pretzels and Mimi's Famous Crepes is beautiful and peaceful. Still hot and humid, but at least a place to rest in the shade.

Best pretzels I’ve ever had. I work down town and I come and eat here at least 3 times a week. The back seating area is beautiful in rain or shine! The staff are super friendly the food is always fresh. This is a must eat if you’re visiting.

Pretzel was hot, soft, and best served with a side of the beer cheese.
