Black Molly Grill

Wonderful seafood perfectly cooked with tasty sides. Very reasonable prices for high quality seafood and good portions. Will definitely visit again. Main dining room was quite loud, we were happy to be seated in the back.

Our waitress was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. My burger requested with no onion would have been much better without the obvious onion flavor in every bite of the burger. The grill staff either put onions on my buger and then removed them or handld other orders with their onions and then dressed my burger orde using the same gloves. I didn't complain there because I don't like being that kind person. I couldn't eat the whole burger as the onion flavor was just too much, nor Did I bring the remainder home.

My Wife and I just had lunch. We had the calamari appetizer and shrimp and fish lunch special. It was very good. I had fresh made coleslaw and she had french fries. Prices were excellent and Melissa, our server was awesome!!

The Black Molly is an amazing restaurant! We have been twice and the food and service is amazing! Kara provided an absolutely amazing dining experience. She was fast,efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. Would highly recommend eating here. And if you’re able, ask for Kara for a great server!

Poor service, mediocre food. Save your money and go to Sunset Grill.

Our experience at Black Molly was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. When we were first seated, our waitress came over, and we asked for the dinner menu. She said, “Sure, let me go get it.” Then she disappeared for about 10–15 minutes. When she never returned, we finally asked the hostess if she could bring us menus, which she did right away. We then sat for another 10 minutes without any service at all. When we inquired again, we were told our waitress was “having a meltdown,” and someone else would be sent to take care of us. Another 10 minutes passed with no sign of any server coming to the table. At that point, we decided to leave. As we were walking out, the hostess casually told us to “Have a good day,” and when we explained that we never even got to order, she seemed unfazed. We asked to speak to a manager. A man eventually came out wearing a stained kitchen apron—not exactly professional—and said he was the manager. We explained everything that had happened, but all he offered was, “I’ll take care of it,” without any attempt to seat us elsewhere, assign a different server, or make things right. To top it off, while we were talking to him, we could see the same waitress—who supposedly was in the middle of a meltdown—chatting and laughing with another table as if nothing had happened. There was no effort to fix the situation, no apology that felt genuine, and no accountability. We ended up leaving without ever being served at all. Overall, this was one of the most poorly managed dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. I wouldn’t recommend Black Molly based on the complete lack of service and professionalism we encountered.

The food is excellent. I gave it 3 stars because they don’t take reservations or call ahead.

Drove from Jacksonville and had an hour and a half wait. Needless to say we left.

Only parked there to look up address.
