We did the Black Raven Rum Runner Cruise for my husband's birthday, and we had a blast! The only thing that I would change is that there aren't any speakers on the 2nd deck, so we had to move down to the first to hear. The drinks are strong, so if you like them weaker, TELL THEM! Lol. Otherwise, you get a strong drink! All in all, it was a great experience, and we are definitely coming back!

My 18 Month old and my 4.5 year old LOVED the Pirate adventure! Izzy and the team were GREAT! Very interactive for the kids and of course they loved getting their treasure at the end. Kaleb's favorite part of sword fighting the pirate and even though he was one of the smallest, he felt huge cause his pirate nemesis said he was fierce! Not only that, the team went above and beyond putting us on a wait list in case of a cancellation as we had a last minute change of plans and calling us as soon as a spot was available! Thanks so much for a great last day for us!

The crew was amazing & funny. We’re came from Montana to Florida for a week with no kids for the first time ever, this was my favorite experience next to all the beach’s we went to. 10/10 recommend this we took the booze cruise cause you know NO KIDS — I have four and it was nice to adult without them ? the crew made it what it was & they were all amazing & fabulous-I was the one who helped the drunk girl! lol! You guys killed it! Thanks for a great time!

Beautiful sunsets, fun drinks, great music, and a fun crew make this a great party boat. Sit and enjoy the views, or dance and sing with the crew. Your choice. Our college-aged girls and my wife and I loved our trip. We would definitely do it again. Remember to tip your crew on the way off the ship. They deserve it.

We went on the 4pm cruise which was more geared towards kids. The kids were bored the first 15 minutes but as soon as the pirates started fighting it was entertaining. My main complaint is that they overbooked. A lot of children had to sit in the parents laps to make room for adults without seats. And the seats we backbreaking painful to sit on…but you are on a pirate ship. Our kids are 8 and 9 years old but I saw 12 years old having a ton of fun.Save yourself the headache and park at the Visitor Center Parking deck. It’s $20, but it’s impossible to find parking anywhere else.

You couldn’t text or call to let us know the ship was broke down? We rode our bikes across town with a 2 year old in the hot sun. You had enough employees standing around doing nothing. One of them should be on the phone. Especially since you knew of the trouble since yesterday.

My 3 granddaughters and I absolutely loved Black Raven Pirate Ship. An adventure like no other. The 12 year old and I were a bit apprehensive, at first but once the ship departed from the dock it was crazy fun. Whoever put this together knew what they were doing. Bang bang, POW, BOOM. Watch out for the swords. We loved the treasure boxes at the end. Wonderful fun!!
I think it’s nice. The kids had a lot of fun they watched the show of pirates! They also got free “treasure. For the grown ups there’s a bar with snacks AND drinks. The reason it’s three stars is because for the older kids they wouldn’t like it was kind of obvious that the fighting was fake. The treasure was a rubber duck, a plastic necklace, and a plastic coin.

This year was our fifth or sixth Black Raven Pirate Cruise adventure over the years. We did the “Nights of Lights” cruise this year, in late December. It’s a little bit chilly this time of year but it’s absolutely beautiful. A slow trip through the Matanzas, on the outskirts of St Augustine. The city lights up like a tree, with Christmas spirit, We even sang a few Christmas carols along the way.The staff is always wonderful and make it fun for everyone. Black Raven offers several different cruises, some more geared for children, other for adults. I’ve always felt the 2 hour cruise was an excellent value, with memories to last a lifetime.As long as I’m able to get in my reservation, I will continue to bring my family to this great attraction.

The show was entertaining and interactive and the perfect show for our bachelorette party! I definitely recommendI also want to mention that if you have anyone causing issues for you or you need help for any reason, the crew will 100% do their best to help you out and make you feel safe. Pirate Blade in particular helped us out when we were being harassed and became security when we needed it.I give this place 5 ⭐️

This was our 3rd trip on the Nights of Lights cruise. We love seeing the lights from the water. It’s a totally different experience than seeing them from a vehicle and the Pirate theme makes it all the more fun for kids and adults. The crew has been great every time. They are very engaging with everyone. The bartender pours a great drink and the prices are very reasonable. We look forward to this every year!
