By Design Catering catered our daughter’s wedding. Tasha was wonderful to work with from the initial phone call. The food was excellent. Everyone was so kind and professional. The charcuterie board was perfect while everyone waited for the bride and groom. Their lettuce salad had sugared pecans and blueberries in it and I can’t forget the yummy dressing. The main course was chicken or fish. The portions were generous. I absolutely loved the fish. The side dishes of rice and mixed vegetables was also exceptional. Wonderful people, book your catering needs with them. Their website is exceptional too.

By Design is the best!! They put together an amazing spread for our wedding at the local distillery and helped bartend. More importantly, they helped my new wife out immensely by working around a very uncommon dietary restriction that had put her in the hospital a year earlier by unknowingly eating some pretty staple cooking ingredients like chopped onions and garlic. The chances of my wife (and me) having a less than stellar wedding night experience from her going without eating much of anything to avoid getting stomach sickness was a real concern we were looking to address for our reception planning.When we showed up for our tasting, we were truly surprised that Marshall and Tasha had already prepared a variation of all the selected menu options that were specifically adjusted to her needs (using onion and garlic powder instead of chopped versions, removing asparagus from the mixed veg, etc.). Being someone who was so used to plucking certain things out of her meals, this brought my wife to tears and truly touched us both.At the wedding reception, By Design set aside special adjusted plates for my bride and made sure she had some food to take home with us (since we were busy chatting with our guests and such)!I can’t recommend this catering company enough for anyone in the St. Augustine area. If you have special diet needs, there’s simply NO ONE comparable to this amazing couple and their crew.Thank you for taking the worry out of an amazing wedding dinner!!!
