We have visited twice so far…and we plan to visit café, Del Hildago, ice cream and food again during our stay here. We ordered paninis and the last visit was for gelatos, both were fantastic. Mostly, the folks serving us were very kind. The last visit was late, right before closing time and we were greeted with big smiles and heaps of gelato! What more can you ask for? Like I said, when the food and desserts are great and service is even better that makes for special memories.Kid-friendliness: Very casual, when we walked in, there were about 10 people sitting at a table, singing, happy birthday in another language, very cool!

DO NOT EAT HERE! my friends and I went here for lunch while shopping. After being seated we waited over 30 minutes for someone to come over to us. We ordered 3 paninis and 1 chicken wrap. We waited TWO hours for our food to finally arrive cold and undercooked. My friend asked for no tomato’s on her wrap because she is allergic but was served the tomatoes anyways. After telling the owner about our experience and the tomatoes situation he was very very rude to us, did not apologize whatsoever for the tomatoes, and insisted she eat it or pay for it. We tried multiple times to leave the restaurant before receiving our food but they would not let us. The staff was very rude and the owner was the worst part! The best he could offer us was one dollar off, even after almost giving my friend an allergic reaction and serving us cold food. I will tell everyone i know not to waste their money here!

I had the gelato. It was hard and kind of crunchy - not smooth and creamy like gelato should be. The texture was not gelato and not really even ice cream.

Horrible service. The owners seem to be not interested to make this place successful.

1/12/2024The staff was very friendly. I wasn't a huge fan of the house Cab, but it was cheap and okay. Wine is so subjective. I didn't have any food to rate. The store is fine, nothing super unique but it was clean and the WiFi was good.

Seriously? One scoop in a extremely tiny 2oz cup was $6?? Should have been $3, and I could believe $4, but $6? Really can't stand when businesses price gouge simply because they're in St. Aug. It was literally about 3 or 4 bites of gelato.

We had a great time and great food + drinks at Hidalgo. Even though there were several other bars and restaurants and we stayed only two nights in Saint Augustine, we went toHidalgo twice. Right opposite of it is the Torture Museum for anyone who’s interested.

Our favorite place in St. Augustine! Their frozen sangria and gelato crepes never fail to disappoint.Huge thank you to whoever manages their social media accounts. The Facebook account messaged us back in under 10 min on Christmas Eve about their hours.

A very cozy cafe; It has tables to eat inside and also outside in the back, quiet without the traffic of people that is in the front! The super friendly service, they speak Spanish and English…As for the food; delicious and everything fresh just made. I had breakfast with my family, the hot chocolate, the paninis and the cappuccino were spectacular. I loved it!

Terrible service, dirty tables, broken dishes, the lady who cleans the table throws the trash on the floor in front of everyone. The Cuban Sandwich was just ham and cheese with a ton of mustard. We ate it because we had already paid for it and we had no other option or we would continue wasting our time. In my personal opinion they are abusing tourism, taking advantage of the fact that people have to eat something, they are not interested in the customer repeating.

Extremely disappointed, my family and I decided to have crepes for breakfast. This place opens at 10:00 We waited until 10am for this place to be open at their door. After waiting outside for half an hour, the person in charge was not professional enough to tell us directly that they will be open at 11:00 am. this individual sent an employee to tell us about it. This person in charge urgently needs a hospitality training.
