Breakfast should not take an hour +, but our server was non-existent. I will say my breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash brown and toast) was pretty good, however I had no need to wait as long as I did considering the cafe was not busy at all. I suggest finding somewhere else for a meal and skipping this place all together. Menus are all digital too (on iPads).

I just had breakfast at this restaurant and had the special of biscuits and gravy and a side of sausage patties. Absolutely the worst meal and presentation experience I've had in St Augustine. The waitress was holding the biscuit in her hand, as she's taking money at the register, that she served me. The food was cold, the biscuit was stale, the sausage patties were from frozen and cold, and the atmosphere was just as bad.

They were getting ready for a big group and seemed a little indifferent and slow. The food was fine.

Just discovered Cafe Cairano today and was pleasantly surprised about how amazing mine and my husband's breakfast were. My husband had the breakfast sandwich. The bread used for the sandwich was soft and the eggs were seasoned and flavorful. He commented that the sandwich was the best he ever had. I had poached eggs, toast and fruit. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection (exactly as I asked for, medium poached) and I don't know what bread was used for the toast, but it was amazing. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The service and atmosphere were excellent. My husband and I will definitely go back to Cafe Cairano.

The burger and fries I had were excellent! Probably the best burger I've had in a while. Although good, the service was very slow from sitting to eating it took nearly an hour and there was a total of 6 people in at the time. Not sure if short staffed or what, id give it another shot for the food.

They really need a sign outside that reads, PREPARE TO WAIT FOREVER AND STARVE AND DIE OF THIRST.

This is the reality of this slow boat machine. We were so happy when a business understood a breakfast and lunch only option and we have been here more than 10 times. The last 7 were useless. They take forever to greet customers. Drinks come out in 15min. Food takes FOREVER. This place used to be a decent option if you feel like sitting forever and not getting good service. Now it's not even worth it. The price of food is abysmal. Coffee doesn't get topped off. Sugar, salt and pepper, etc never make it to the tables. The biscuits are Pillsbury garbage. Most of the food that used to be prepped freshly is no longer. They've lost their edge and it stinks.

$50 for 2 for breakfast is NOT WORTH IT. The Service is horrible and lacks any education for the standard expectation and the food is just too slow to arrive to the table. No way.

Second worse experience in my life and I'm 69 years old. Others arrived after us and got waited on. After apologizing for the delay she sat others and took their orders. After another apology for the wait sat others and took their orders. People that arrived after us were about done eating before we finally got our drinks. Can't say what the food was like because we left when she finally came to take our order. Went down the street to 2 Creek bar and grill. Friendly people and good service.

In the area and stopped in for breakfast. From the time we arrived to the time our order was put in was 30 mins. There were only 3 other tables in there at the time. Our waitress seemed to be new so we were patient with her. There seemed to be several other employees around that kept pulling her in other directions and she couldn’t get the order put in the system. Several other customers waited a good 15 minutes for coffee upon arrival. None of this falls on the new waitress. This falls on management for not ensuring she was trained enough to run the front solo on a weekend morning. Food came out in a good time frame once order was placed, food was ok but I can assume bc the waitress was new, there were things either missing or wrong. She was overwhelmed enough so we didn’t complain, we just ate, paid and left. I hope the management sees this and offers a better training routine. Training not only makes it a smoother interaction for customers but also helps alleviate some stress from the new person.

The owner had her feet out while my family was trying to eat our lunch. On top of that her son was drinking when we got there .The ac felt off. We will not be back! Also the owner was being really loud on the phone the whole time. They need an office or something.!
