I had the BamBam. Hot and fresh. Very pleasant service and great coffee (I take it black). Excellent value, nice to not have to pay $20 for a quality breakfast.

My son and I love this place. The environment is perfect for us. We like to drop in on a weekday morning, pick up a fresh squeezed OJ, a gravy crocket taco, a quesadilla, and latte. They have coloring sheets and crayons waiting for the kiddos to pickup on the way through the line. I’ve never been to a restaurant where my son loves to sit and color endlessly the way he does at Calico Cactus. The environment is no-stress and kind! The staff is always SO pleasant and helpful. Amanda and Robin have always taken such great care of us, although I know Amanda is handling the opening of a new location so she isn’t around as often any longer. I love their queso, too! I highly recommend this restaurant!

There were 6 of us, in our party, and we all ordered different things. Everything was exceptional, the service was excellent and the value was worth it. We will definitely be stopping back here when we are next in town

I recently visited and was very disappointed. The rice bowl I ordered had barely any chicken, and the rice was severely overcooked. Additionally, the breakfast burritos were overpriced for what you get—there wasn't much filling inside them at all. To top it off, the staff member at the counter, a rude blonde girl, made the experience even worse. I won’t be returning.

I got the breakfast taco and it was amazing. The service was amazing too. I brought my toddler and they were so nice to us. Will definitely be back!!!

A classic pairing in the making? I wasn’t quite sure how well coffee and tacos were going to go together but I was pleasantly surprised on my recent visit to Calico Cactus 🌵

I attended Coffee with a Commissioner put- an event out in by our City Government this week and I am so glad I got to try out the food and drinks here.

I had the Bees Knees which was an equal blend of honey and vanilla latte topped with cinnamon which was delicious. The thing that blew me away was the Gravy Crocket taco though - the mix of Bacon, potatoes, green chili spicy chorizo gravy was the perfect start to my day. The owners also brought over some fresh made chips and queso along with some delicious salsas as well. Give this not so classic combo a try and you will definitely be back for more.

On a two day visit to St. Augustine, my family chose to eat at Calico Cactus twice. Everything was great! We were greeted by a friendly and upbeat employee each time we entered the restaurant and every item we ordered was prepared fresh. The prices were good and portions were too. I can’t wait to be in the area again to try other menu items. Thank you Calico Cactus for great meals and your awesome staff.

Me: literally whatever is cheaper it tastes the same to me

Barista: ummm im just going to charge you the extra 95 cents to make it a latte that will make my boss happier.
