I’m giving it 4 stars because I ate there multiple times and the food was not consistent as the first time. Still very good. Went from fantastic to very good. I love that they gave a torteria. That’s a step up. I will definitely be back.

This is my new favorite local spot. I work odd hours so getting off work in the morning im not always looking for breakfast. This place is making handmade tortillas to order and offering breakfast and lunch options as soon as they open. Tried 7 different tacos so far and they are all amazing. My new favorite taco spot in town. Don't forget the quest. You can tell its home made and comes with fresh pico in it. Since I've found this place I've been twice a week!
Its super clean inside, nice sauce bar, and the staff is super welcoming and friendly. Live love love this place

Great breakfast spot, but they also serve lunch. Hot coffee, lattes, fresh wheezed OJ, and other drinks available. Wide variety of tacos with something for everyone. They also offer bowls, the double protein is my favorite. The salsa bar is my favorite part besides the sweet staff. Shoutout to Amanda for always being pleasant! ☺️

The food is very tasty and fresh overall, and the menu offers great variety, but…I discovered that they use vegetable oil in their tortillas. It’s the WORST type of cooking oil, which is inflammatory. It makes people sick. I am also not crazy about nearly every dish including bacon (so unhealthy). Amigos, please start using AVOCADO or COCONUT OIL and offer alternatives, like organic turkey bacon. Keep your patrons healthy!

I went here because of the rating and was NOT disappointed. The queso was amongst the best I've ever had!
I had a double protein bowl with brisket. Lots of meat, picked onions too! I loved it. Ill come every time I'm in St. Augustine. Open one in Myrtle Beach!!

Came back to the best breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in St Augustine!

Wish I was lying when I said I traveled all the way from San Diego, CA just to get my favorite taco of all the time… the ‘squawk on the street’! I tried two of Miranda’s tasty creations😋 first was the Miranda breakfast taco and second was the best lavender latte I have ever consumed, the ‘Purple moon’ Miranda’s way which featured some oat milk and splash of syrup. Sheeba came over to our table and made sure we had anything we could’ve wanted (even to chat about our favorite things in SD)!
The vibe is always so uplifting and you can always feel that uplifting welcome no matter the time you walk in the door ☺️🌮🧡

The kids prices at this place are incredible & one of the reasons we drive from north Saint Augustine to here. The food is also delicious & service is surprisingly better than most sit down restaurants we’ve been to. If you don’t like spicy don’t order the queso. We’ve made that mistake for our kids and they couldn’t eat it. Bowls are great, pancakes & bacon, & complementary salsa. Definitely a good spot in Saint Aug.

Love the atmosphere and vibes. What you get in the tacos varies. Sometimes a hearty serving and other times I'm left feeling hungry after just eating. The bowls are pretty good but the burritos are where it's at. Although unfortunately you only get half of the burrito... Love the salsa and good coffee that is wonderful.

Atmosphere was great and food was delicious. Salsa bar is a nice addition and food came out fast. Scrambled egg on the face taco, tumbleweed tots, and protein bowl were all delicious. Bee’s Knees latte was tasty too and came with edible bee treat. Tortillas are made in house and you can taste the freshness. Looking forward to going back and trying more.

Where to even begin!!! This is a HIDDEN GEM in STA. This was our first time and we had so many questions about the menu. Everyone working was SO nice answering all of our questions and even making substitutions because we were vegetarian!! Personal suggestion…get the BAM BAM sub potatoes for the bacon…and just thank me later! Everything we ate was phenomenal and don’t get me started on how amazing the coffee was! The Bees Knees with oat milk! I could drink this every single day!!! This was a special treat and a place we will be visiting anytime we are in St. Augustine! Run to eat at Calico Cactus, you will not regret it!!

This morning was me & my bfs first time coming and it was so bomb omg. We got the 10 count tumbleweed tots mixed(10000000/10), Area 51(9/10), M.T.D. (1000/10)& the bam bam(8/10) & the queso(10/10). The service was fast & super friendly. The young lady upront was so patient & did everything with a bright smile. Overall can't wait to be back for lunch :)

Sometimes you just want to give that hidden gym, serving food you like (breakfast for me) and I think we did just that.

My kids were thrifting and I met them for lunch. Calico’s had both lunch and breakfast items, that suited my crew well.

Service is happy and efficient.and we were greeted promptly by Hollin, who went on to make several recommendations, since we were first timers. She was just a really outwardly happy person, which is always good to see, because of the back of the house is happy too, well, happy people make good good. You can quote me on that.

The restaurant is extremely clean and there is plenty of room to dine in.

But you want to hear about the food.

Scrambled Eggs on your face - their biggest seller, and for good reason,
Bam Bam - my personal favorite, bacon, egg, rolled in a pancake covered with maple syrup. GET THIS.
Fireproof - my son really enjoyed this.
Brisket Bowl - another solid choice for our crew.

We really did not find anything bad, but we did have a few choices we ranked at the top. For me it was the Bam Bam, my son, The Fireproof, and my daughter lived her brisket bowl.

Good find for breakfast or lunch.
