Had the best sunset dinner ever at Caps! This restaurant has the best vibe. Our waiter, Brandon, had great suggestions and was very attentive! Can’t wait to come back!

I'm 51 years old, I've traveled throughout the US, Europe, and the Caribbean and I can say without any hesitation that dining here was one of the top 3 best dining experiences of my life. From the valet to the reception staff to the bartenders, and our sever...All were 5 star. As were our meals! And, there's not enough room for me to adequately write about the stunning ambiance. The speed that our orders were brought to us, the temperature of the food, and of course, the food itself. Absolutely amazing! We live over 30 minutes from here, but Cap's on the Water is our new favorite restaurant, period. We'll be back...often! Pictured is my dinner; Pan seared local snapper topped with crab meat, all on top of a bed of perfect mashed potatoes, served with asparagus. I'm not sure of the sauce that covered it all, but it was absolutely delicious.

We sat outside by the water for the sunset and It was perfect. Our server Shawn was great and helped us decide on our meals. The flounder was amazing, so was the tuna sashimi appetizer, my wife enjoyed her grouper and fish dip. The cocktails were also on point. We will come back here again!

This review is based off one dish only - the Cajun pasta.

Dear Chef,

Idk if you are experimenting with seasoning, but Cajun pasta doesn’t need to be excessively seasoned or complex. Please for the love of pasta lovers, find a different seasoning recipe. When I ate the Cajun pasta I didn’t even know I was eating it because there was an overwhelming about of seasoning that completely ruined the dish.

We were afraid this place might value atmosphere over food quality, but we were wrong. The cocktails were handcrafted and the food was absolutely fantastic! Everything we got was delicious. Will definitely be back. The old fashioned were spot on. We loved the herb crusted flounder, and the tuna special was knock out! Even the creamed spinach was yummy. Wish we would have had room for dessert

Waiter was nice but the hostesses were giving my partner and I the run around. They placed us in a back room all by ourselves. No water views and we could see those tables open…

I wanted to leave and eat somewhere else as we checked in.
