I made a reservation for brunch for 4 people for Mother's Day on Open Table. I received a confirmation right away and another one 2 days before asking me to confirm that we were coming, which I did. We found parking (which wasn't easy) and walked over, only to find a big closed sign on the door!! I am very upset that no one notified us and our Mother's Day was ruined!
Unbelievable. Food, service, wine! What an experience. Caviar with our desert. My husband was in the restaurant business many years ago. We are from up north , a city known for the best restaurants. This is truly a dining experience here in St Augustine. The only disappointment was the atmosphere. We were expecting dim lights, soft piano music and people dressed nicely. By 8:00 it was like a piano bar. No place to be for a romantic dinner.
We truly enjoyed the venue and the food. It is a bit pricey but the piano music is worth the upcharge. Our only problem was a VERY loud and intrusive man whom the manager and the staff did not address. It completely ruined both our experience (for the time that he was there) and the couple next to us who left very quickly as they were as uncomfortable as we were. The staff is young and hopefully will learn to manage the very nice environment so that all of their customers can enjoy it.
Me and my boyfriend visited Saint Augustine for the first time to see a concert at the amphitheater. I chose this restaurant based on reviews and was not disappointed. Loved the charcuterie platter, and the short rib. Our waiter. Noah was very informative and pleasant !
We took our friends for their 15th year anniversary. And we loved it. The only issue I had is that your website talks about a strict dress code for women. Once we got there. Some of the diners were dressed totally contrary to the dress code. If I would have none that, I would have dressed a little better as opposed to look like a nun.
Food was very good and although the portions are advertised as “small plates”, we found them to be entree sized. Greeter could have been more appropriately dressed for this venue (was n jeans and tennis shoes), as well as a bit more cordial/welcoming (stood at door and as potential diners approached, he opened the door enough to abruptly say “do you have reservations?” Gage was our waiter and was friendly, knowledgeable about the drink and food menus and very welcoming. First pianist wasn't very good. He essentially just played chords n different rhythms non-stop and loudly. Jeremy, on the other hand, was excellent and actually mingled and conversed with guests. I would definitely recommend this place. My review is strictly meant as constructive criticism and if considered for minor changes could really kick this place up a notch.
Overall great experience. The staff was fantastic and the food was great. We had the cheese board which had a great selection of cheeses and two different desserts - both of which were delicious!
Very limited menu. No vegetable with short rib entree. Food was very good but at $40, I would expect a few vegetables to be included. Decor was attractive and tables were nicely spaced. We very much enjoyed our evening but would consider it a treat given the entrees and starters are pretty steep.
The live piano music was lovely to dine by, plus the second pianist was very personable and asked for requests, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We had small plates from the menu, each of which was fabulous: the short ribs, the mussels, and the eggplant. Our server Natalie was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We look forward to returning again soon.
We celebrated my husband's birthday there. One of the best tasting cheese boards I've had. Food and service was outstanding! Fun to engage with the pianist and others about song selections. Location, solid window front facing the bay and intimate setting provided one of the best seats in St. Augustine.

Me and my wife dined here this past weekend during our short stay in St. Augustine. My wife booked a reservation here based on the reviews and we were looking for a place where we could share dishes instead of getting a main entree each. Opentable doesn't post the pricing so I will say that this place is way overpriced for what u get. They advertise their food as ‘Bites' but they charge entree prices. When we opened the menu and saw the prices we almost left to go elsewhere but decided to stay. I asked the waiter which of their entrees were bigger and we decided to start with the short ribs and eggplant. For $45 the short ribs were just 2 pieces of beef with no sides. The eggplant was 3 small pieces as well. I will say the food was very good but just not enough to justify the cost. After we shared the plates we were still hungry and were thinking of ordering something else but decided to cut our losses and cash out. We grabbed something elsewhere afterwards. Restaurant is small and the piano is a nice touch but with all the places there are to eat in St. Augustine we wouldn't dine here again.
The short ribs and cheese plate were delicious. The piano was beautifully played with song choices and a volume that made table conversation easy and enjoyable. In other words It was complimentary instead of overwhelming. A great experience! We're looking forward to coming back soon!
Amazing service! We briefly waited outside, but was escorted to the bar where we enjoyed our first round of fantastic wine. We ordered a charcuterie board that was nothing less than stupendous! With an impressive understanding of the meats and cheeses, the bartender taught me all about pâtè. They followed up the wine with well crafted fresh cocktails. We ordered the lamb for dinner and like everything else during the experience, it was breathtaking. All of this was accompanied by the beautiful sounds of the piano player that night!
Not your average restaurant! This is a full dining experience from the entertainment to the creative seasonal dishes. Our group has not stopped talking about the delicious dishes and wine. Exceptional food and service, do yourself a favor and make this part of your downtown experience.
Great atmosphere, wonderful piano player and such a unique spot. The only downside is the cost of the tapas, definitely too pricey for what you get , saw two tables leave once they saw the prices. So would be a great place for pre or post drinks and light bite or dessert and enjoy the amazing atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!
