Cobalt Lounge

Great ambience and atmosphere. Decent martinis, but the martini prices are insane. I expect to pay a lot for a martini, but not the prices they charge. I don't know how they justify it.

The Casa Monica is a great place to stay in St Augustine but our friendly bartender, Amber, and her crew made The Cobalt Lounge rise from “hotel bar” to evening destination for both nights of our stay. Not just a server of excellent drinks - Amber is fun to chat with and a gracious host. More like drinks with a friend than the person taking our money. We had a great time and we will be back

Old fashioned and Moscow mule were excellent. Hotel atmosphere is very elegant.

Has a wonderful dinner there in the private dining area for a friend's birthday on February 13th. The serves and food was great. I reached out to a manager, Mr. Philip...right away after finding a problem on my credit card and he looked into it and took care of them problem right away. VERY IMPRESSIVE on the amount of time for Mr. Philip took care of this and correct it in a short period of time. I want to give him a BIG SHOT OUT! We need more managements like him. He listened and took care of my concern. Again the serves, the two servers, and the food was great.

Great experience. Great food and the piano bar was wonderful and fun.

Not very good at all. Burger was very greasy and undercooked (ordered a little bit of pink and it was very rare), fries were heavily over-salted, and Bloody Mary also not good. The Spanish olives were great and so was the service.

Great bar. Excellent Service and very accommodating bartender as well as servers. The Tapas were delicious, and there was a good variety of cheeses, meats, olives, and desserts.

Wow, the servers work at this bar. Very comfortable seating almost in the lobby of hte hotel. The bar prices are really reasonable and the bar is comfortable with great people watching.

At least the nights we were there, the lounge was crazy busy and very loud. The waiter seemed less than interested in his job and the bartender tends to do short pours on the martinis.

Only one server working in the restaurant when we visited, so there was a very limited menu and of course things were slow. I'll give them another shot, because they were nice and the food was good.

We have been enjoying the Cobalt Lounge for many years, usually on a Friday or Saturday night, when there is live music, which has always been good. Last Saturday (26 Nov 2022), we went for a couple of drinks and tapas, like we usually do. We enjoyed the drinks, food, and music, but were surprised at the price increases. We have always considered the premium prices of the Cobalt Lounge worth it from time to time given the menu and music. Unfortunately, we'll have to reconsider this in the future. At some point, high prices begin to detract from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Sunday brunch. Not perfect, but good - and worth another visit. Beautiful live Spanish guitar and trombone were not too loud and VERY skilled. The waitress was very nice but should have been more attentive. Made an error in our order and never did get it corrected. Beautiful atmosphere and no crowd and no wait. We will give them another try.

Excellent experience I do not drink alcohol however the bar tender was able to make a delicious non-alcoholic raspberry, with bloody orange, lavender and mineral water. My husband said his drink was great as well.

We enjoyed drinks here after dinner off-site both evenings and enjoyed the good selection of drinks and wine, the nice Spanish-styled surroundings and certainly the excellent piano player those evenings. The place was comfortably busy until later ... which is nice to have when you enjoy a drink later than commonly usual. The service was nice ... unfortunately the hostess should probably better look for a different profession.

Food was outstanding and so were drinks although drinks were out of control with the prices!! But that is were we are headed in this world.
