Absolutely delicious coffee and amazing service!! ☕🙂❤️
Stopped in for a cold brewed ice tea with the family on our first visit to St Augustine.
An older gentleman asked if I wanted a latte- after several times asking for a tea, he asked - black or green? I asked for the green tea and he just pulled out a bottled green tea. I had to ask for a cup of ice. My husband proceeded to use the restroom and then I used it after. When my daughter went to use it, the older gentleman prevented her from proceeding and was told only paying customers could use it. We were going to purchase some Key Lime Pie but after the strange interaction, we just left.
Entered the coffee house with my sister and my three nieces. My sister and myself ordered beverages for my three nieces totaling around $20. My sister and myself asked to use their restroom and was told, in a very rude manner, that the restroom was for paying customers only. (No signs were posted regarding this.) I wondered what constitutes a paying customer at this establishment??!! When we inquired about being a paying customer, we were talked down to and received eye rolls from the owner. Have never been treated so disrespectfully from a man.
I wish I could give zero stars! Rude and pompous at its finest! I was belittled by the man behind the counter who told me I couldn’t use the bathroom as it was for paying customers! I purchased items, you took my money…doesn’t that constitute being a paying customer, or are you that ignorant that you don’t know what a paying customer is? Don't be in business if you feel you can treat people poorly. If you are that miserable in your life, maybe you need a new profession.
I went today with my girls who wanted a coffee. As my daughter received hers, I was told I was not able to use the bathroom as “the bathrooms were only for paying customers”. Ummm…I’m confused as I purchased beverages. I should have been refunded if the owners didn’t condiser me a paying customer, as they had no problem taking my money. The owner rolled his eyes at me, mumbled, and belittled me in front of other customers. For anyone that wants to go to a nice coffee shop, go elsewhere! I’ve never been treated so poorly. Pompous attitude at its finest!
Best coffee shop in town. Great service, cool historic building, convenient location.
It only took 1 morning for us to fall in love! Then we came every morning the rest of our week vacation. From the coffee to the owners everything is first-rate!! Heck I even learned how to make pie crust and quiches because their’s is so good! Such a great place to sit with friends or snuggle up on the front porch swing with a good cup of joe and a book. AND I can’t forget about the gorgeous array of flowers. It’s as if you’ve walked into a magical forest of happiness!
It's such a cool coffee shop! They take great care of the garden out front, and the vibe is so friendly. The owners are very nice and welcoming. He lived in Key West for 17 years, so you know the Cafe con Leche is perfect! There were chest boards and art all over. They even had teas, pastries, and specialty sodas. I love that they dont have wifi
In a world full of cell phone use and on demand TV. It's grounding to simply sip exquisite coffee while listening to birds and staring at a lush garden.
We were exploring this area of St. Augustine and stopped by Juniper Market for drinks before noticing this charming café across the street. Drawn in by its beautiful exterior, we decided to check it out.
Upon entering, we weren’t greeted—instead, the employee (possibly the owner) said, “You walked into a coffee shop with coffee in your hand?” It was a snarky comment, but we shrugged it off and looked through the pastry case. As we browsed, the staff made no effort to be friendly or helpful. They exchanged side-eyes and seemed visibly annoyed by our presence.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. Despite this, we still chose to purchase a pastry to support the small business. I rarely leave reviews, but today’s experience was too unpleasant to ignore. The space is nice and the pastry was good, but the deplorable service completely ruined the visit. I always try to support small businesses, but kindness and customer care are key. I hope this was just an off day, but it left a lasting impression.
Edit: After reading some other negative reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue that the owners don’t care to fix. They don’t seem to value their customers or their experience at their establishment.
Nice, cozy place to meet and have a chat with friends. Food items are wonderful. Coffee was a little on the sweet side for me but I can see the allure for customers.

I personally love having a coffeehouse to enjoy that doesn’t offer wifi or have every available seat taken up by folks on laptops posted up for hours working. If that’s your preference there’s thousands of spots out there that offer that, but I love having an option that doesn’t. The location is a gem with a beautifully gardened yard shaded with a draping oak and bespoke seating areas tucked in every corner of the porch and first floor. The owners were charming and accommodating. My cold brew hit the spot. It’s a place I go out of my way to visit whenever I’m in town. If you want a coffee house to take yourself (or someone else) on a date to this is the spot! A reader’s dream!
Always amazing, love everything about this place!!
Cute place, but the white-haired man's behavior just makes you want to run away. There are better places nearby for less money.

Purchased 2 coffees and left a tip and someone in my party wanted to use the restroom and they told them they couldn’t use the bathroom. Overdramatic and unnecessary.
