I sat down here at 8 AM on a Tuesday. Every table was available, except one. I was looking at the menu on my phone and waited maybe ten minutes deciding if I wanted to order something to eat. A man came out and asked if I was going to order something, to which he then said “ You have a water and a drink from someone else already, come on now”. I explained to him that it was the tea from my hotel, which clearly says Hilton across the cup, and a water bottle. I then told him that I had stopped to sit there for a few minutes because I was feeling lightheaded on my walk, and was deciding if I wanted to eat. When I asked him if I can sit there, he responded “not unless you’re ordering something” and walked away. I will never patronize a place like this. It doesn’t take much to be kind to others.

We were in St Augustine after a family funeral and went to this café to join family for a coffee. While I was ordering my daughter went to use the restroom. Her path was blocked and she was challenged. This really upset her. I ordered a decaf cappuccino and was presented with a regular brewed coffee. There was no interest in fixing this order. Very poor and unwelcoming service.

Lovely place to sit down and relax while sipping a coffee and looking at beautiful art! I loved the atmosphere of this place and the owner was very accommodating.

If I could rate a poorer rating I would!!
Seemed welcoming when we came in, we purchased some teas and sat down for a few minutes. My friend who made the purchase got up to use the restroom, while in the restroom her son got up to use the restroom also. Her son is a minor not an adult. He was told the restroom is for customers only, we explained that we made a purchase. The gentleman who was at the counter (we are assuming the owner) told us that the woman who bought the drink was a customer but we were not customers even though we were all together in one group. In order for us to use the restroom we would all need to make a separate purchase. The employee was very rude to a child who has diagnosed stomach issues and needed to use their restroom. When his mom went back to the counter and explained that her son has stomach issues and that he is her son and that we make a purchase, the employee still didn’t offer the restroom. If you are looking for a family friendly coffee shop this shop is not recommended.

Went to st.augustine for the weekend. Was our place for breakfast both days. I absolutely adore not only this cute café - but the owners as well. Such a delight

This is a lovely coffee shop that doubles as a wonderful art gallery. The owners are both artists! The food was good and the coffee even better. I enjoyed my time there.
I went to look for the WiFi password and there’s a sign that says we don’t have WiFi talk to eachother like it’s 1995 and I thought that was wonderful

The atmosphere in here is amazing. Its a nice little cafe in an old fashioned southern house. I got the hot chocolate/coffee/espresso mix (I forgot the name), and it was SOOOOOO good. I'd come back to Saint Augustine JUST for that haha. I would recommend!

We stopped here to get coffee (and by we I mean myself and my sister) because I wanted a latte and we needed to use the restroom. I bought a latte and asked where the bathroom was and the person at the counter pointed it out(with a bit of attitude) saying “it’s good you bought something or you couldn’t use the restroom.” Which, fine, whatever but when my sister who was in my party attempted to use the bathroom a tall man stopped her (blocking the doorway with his body) saying she hadn’t bought anything and they’d already told us that if you didn’t buy something you couldn’t use the bathroom. So we left. Which got me thinking, why such an extreme reaction, did they think we were lesbians and are homophobic? Was it my wind swept hair and dusty skin, did they think us houseless? Was it because we only spent $8 and if I’d spent more the facilities would have been more accessible? All very hateful reasons if that’s the case. But regardless they were extremely rude and the man’s behavior physically intimidating to two women he did not know. I do not recommend this place. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Unfortunately, had a pretty rude experience here. I walked in happy looking to have a coffee and work for a few hours. I was greeted with “we don’t allow laptops here” …”come back when you want to have a true coffee house experience”. I think they could have at least ask me if I wanted to buy a coffee… would never go back. Sad

All I can say if this place is Fantastically Whimsical and Charming. The owners are wonderful, sweet and a gracious host. This well be my go to spot when I'm in town. Thank you for making my stay in St Augustine for my Birthday fulling and making my taste buds happy. 😋

Lovely coffee house with a beautiful wrap around porch for outdoor seating and friendly staff and barista. Our lattes were excellent and the pastries were very tasty. Neat local art offered for sale inside. Well worth a stop-in!
