We got there early, so had a drink at the bar. Amber was great- she explained all the menu entrees. We got seated prior to our reservation time. Everyone was so nice!

I usually go to the Columbia about once every 45 months it never disappoints. I love going to the Columbia for the history the food the drink drinks. Everything about the Columbia is so special.

We visited from Jacksonville and arrived about 45 minutes early for our reservation. Even so, we were accommodated and seated within 15 minutes, which we really appreciated. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We tried a few new dishes and were extremely satisfied. The tableside sangria and the 1905 salad were superb. The crab cakes were very delicious and fresh. Overall, we truly enjoyed our dining experience. Our only minor complaint is that the tables for two are quite small, which made it a bit challenging to fit drinks, appetizers, and main courses. Otherwise, everything was wonderful, and we will definitely be returning.

The food was decidedly average. We had crab stuffed grouper/Salmon Special/ Paella. The salmon was good the other dishes weren’t. Our waiter was good. The main reason why we will never go back is an incident we witnessed from another group dining near us. There was a party of 20+ people seated near us who, after about 10 minutes of being seated weee moved for an unknown reason to another room. Almost all of the patrons at the table handled their utensils and napkins. Once they were moved the wait staff moved the tables to their original set up as tables for 4 WITHOUT changing any of the napkins or utensils. We also noticed the wait staff handled much of the silverware with their hands on the portion of the utensils that you put in your mouth! I brought this to the manager’s attention and only 2 of the tables napkins were changed, no utensils were changed. NOT SANITARY.
