Cone Heads Ice Cream

We have always loved Cone Heads, but I was really disappointed when they changed their punch-card policy to only allow one punch per visit. For a place that serves a lot of vacationing families—like ours, purchasing 9 ice cream cones at a time—it feels like the focus shifted away from customer appreciation and more toward policy appearance. It definitely took away from the experience we’ve always enjoyed.

It’s a small place that also serve hot dogs and sausages, but there are currently 4 non-dairy ice cream/sorbet flavors. The strawberry and toasted coconut are truly excellent. Best I’ve ever had.

The triple Peanut Butter is amazing. My son loved the Super Hero too. We love coming to eat ice cream here even when it’s chilly outside

Sooo good! They have an easy drive thru right on the beach. Try the Caribbean rum raisin. Yum!!!

Went to get some ice cream to go for the kids and when I entered the first young guy was looking real busy with the drive thru and now the counter. I asked him if they had a to go option, he said they had containers. So he went in the back area and asked for help out front. The next young guy came out and looked annoyed. He asked what I wanted and I told him a scoop of the ice cream in a waffle bowl. He went and put the ice cream in the bowl and I asked if that had a lid because it was to go. He said we have paper bags, I said no I mean in a container with a lid and I can take the waffle bowl separate. He rolled his eyes and took out the ice cream,put it in the container and set it with the waffle bowl on the top of the counter. He did the next two then when he was done he looked at me and said gets this and bring them down here( not in a nice way either. We went later to Mayday ice cream down the road and I would recommend them 100 percent more on customer service and the ice cream!

Milkshake and ice cream was very good! Pumpkin roll milkshake hit the spot after a warm day! Good prices not outrageous at all!

Nice place! Super friendly folks. Great flavors. Small area inside to sit. Bigger area outside to sit. The place is spotless and prices are super reasonable. Nice selection of dairy free flavors. We'll be back for sure.

Highly recommend banana & strawberry cheesecake in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl. Customer Service is lovely & sweet! Love your icecream and service with a smile. Made our day in St. Augustine even sweeter! Thank you! And just noticed you have a drive through! How cool!
