We had our furry friends so we were sat outside, as expected tbh but it was very windy. It seemed like we were kinda forgotten about outside away from everyone and the food got cold quick because of the wind, which was no one’s fault. They gave our dogs treats and water. Food was good. Nothing crazy amazing good or bad.

I live right down the street from this restaurant and for whatever reason we’ve never gone here… until today & I’m so glad that I did! It was the first one in the door this morning, sat at the bar & had a great waitress. She was very efficient and genuinely friendly. I had the breakfast breakfast burrito… which was outstanding! This restaurant is a gem & I’m looking forward to going back!

Love this place! Best pancakes ever and I am hoping to one day get to have the lemon pancakes! Red velvet is why they prepare at Christmas so I guess I need to sit it out and wait next time. Love the owners and staff. I only eat the pancakes!

I went here while on vacation with my family and dining here was a great experience. I am celiac and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how many GF options they have. The food was amazing I will definitely be back whenever I travel to St Aug again!

Seats are metal and hard. There are no places provided to place your purse. Chairs are not conducive to hang your purse. Hollandaise sauce needs to be better. Didn't have any flavor. Pancakes are good.

The food was alright. A little bland but good. The coffee was horrible, but I'm a bit of a coffee snob so don't take that to heart. Our waitress was nice just disappeared on us. Overall not bad.

This is the first place I go when I get to St Augustine. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Extremely accommodating for food allergies. Pet patio is my usual spot. Stop in before you head to the beach!!

My family and I recently visited Connolly’s Shore gmGrill and loved our experience. The server Emily was able to explain all of the accommodations they could offer to our son’s gluten allergy. My favorite dish is the Banana Foster French toast, served with the best coffee in town (and mimosas of course)

This place absolutely shines where it counts most for breakfast: the waffles, pancakes, and French toast are a straight 10/10—the best I’ve had, no exaggeration. Perfect texture, great flavor, and clearly made with care. If sweet breakfast is your go-to, this alone makes the place worth visiting.

That said, not everything hits the mark. The omelet was on the greasy side and lacked the same attention to detail as the griddle items. More disappointing was the coffee. It tasted like basic hotel room coffee—flat and forgettable. For a dedicated breakfast spot, that’s a miss. Fresh-brewed coffee using real beans, not prepackaged filter packs, should be the standard.

Overall, fantastic for pancakes, waffles, and French toast, but there’s room for improvement on the savory side and especially the coffee. Fix those, and this could easily be a five-star breakfast joint.
