Cousteau’s bolsters a delicious selection of specialty shakes/waffles. I got the simple waffle bites with a Stevesie shake, these are fantastic alone and together and I recommended dunking the waffles in your shake. The shake is also a good drink to stay full and hydrated while walking around in the heat. I highly recommend this spot to anyone, and would return again myself if back around St. Augustine.

My husband and I went for a walk in Saint Augustine over the weekend in search of a milkshake, and MY GOD we found Cousteau's, THE BEST WAFFLE we've ever eaten in our lives!!! I highly recommend this experience. And the milkshake is delicious!

I was a bit disappointed in my selection. I got the blueberry waffle with honey and was looking forward to it, but the blueberries didn't seem very cooked and were a bit hard and kind of crunchy.My friend got the chocolate covered waffle with vanilla ice cream and I wish I'd gotten hers! Way better than mine. She kept asking if I wanted to go back, but I was so disappointed the first time I couldn't bring myself to it.Not a to of places to sit and the stools aren't super comfortable. Not worth the price to me.
First time here. Ordered a waffle That was supposed to have creme brulee on top. I would swear, having made brulee frequently in my life, this was putting with a few bits of caramelized sugar on top. There's a single large juicy strawberry and a couple of dollops of whipped cream. For $10 it was mediocre at best. Add to that the too loud jazz music, noisy machines behind the counter and this place becomes another tourist trap disappointment. The young lady behind the counter was helpful, charming.

I possibly had the BEST milkshake I've ever had in my life. I had a key lime pie milkshake and I literally felt like I was having a desert. It was absolutely delicious. My wife and I are visiting the city from Toronto and we both agreed to come back before we head back home.

A must-stop St. Augustine staple. Unless by some tragic mischance you don't like waffles and/or icecream, you have to make a stop here. Fresh, well-made waffles with equally amazing ice cream on top is a hard combo to beat.Vegetarian options: When we were there they had vegan coconut ice cream on the menu.
