ONE WORD: DELICIOUS!!! Oh my goodness, guests are still talking about how amazing our desserts were. We did a small cake with a variation of dessert cups, macaroons, and cookie sandwiches. They not only were yummy but the presentation is a 10/10. A huge bonus is they let you use their dessert stands and platters as long as you return them! As much as I loved the dessert I have to brag on Brooke and Bailey too! They are truly the sweetest and I really enjoyed working with them through the planning process. Brooke did a tasting with us and made sure we tried everything we wanted and more. She listened to our thoughts and really cared that we loved everything. They are the very very best!! Wow. Just wow. I live in St Augustine and kept hearing amazing things about this bakery. I attended a dinner party this weekend and was responsible for the dessert. I bought the German Chocolate cake and it was divine. Perfectly moist and the coconut pecan frosting sent me over the moon. The other dinner guests were just as delighted. I bought some other treats that were brilliant too. The macarons were comparable to ones you’d find in France. This bakery is a must!

We initially came across the bakery when looking for our wedding cake. The initial tasting was fantastic. Everything looked and tasted so good and at the recommendation of the baker we met with, we tried the homemade oatmeal crème pies. They were so amazing that we chose to have mini versions for our wedding favors and all of the guests loved them. The wedding cake was amazing. They were communicative, made sure all of the details were correct, and followed up after our wedding to make sure everything turned out perfect. Every time we come to town we visit the bakery and buy goodies. They’ve gained a lifetime customer and we couldn’t have been more pleased for our special day. Thank you to Nils and the entire staff for being so amazing!
The dessert, particularly the truffles are exceptional, with layers of flavor that linger beautifully. This establishment is a true culinary treasure that should not be missed. As a devoted foodie from Austin, TX, I can confidently say this place deserves national recognition. Got a one tier cake for my small beach wedding. They gave me exactly what I wanted, and the flavors are magnificent! Best cake Ive ever had, the icing was not too heavy. Absolutely delicious!! And they were so communicative, pleasant, and prompt. After the wedding they even sent a congrats email and offered an anniversary gift if we come back in a year to celebrate. They’re so thoughtful and nice, I couldn’t have chosen a better bakery for my wedding.

The food was outstanding. We received so many compliments from our guests. We ordered dessert shots, cannolis, a variety of croissants, and coffee cake. This is now our go to place for cake and other small delicious desserts. The price point is lower than the quality itself. Just came here to say that the smashing pumpkin is the best pumpkin pie in existence. As a resident of Tennessee, I only get to go to CDLC when I visit my family in St. Augustine, and we usually don’t travel in the fall, however my mom came to visit this past week and she picked up a smashing pumpkin to bring to Tennessee for me, they froze the pie so it would travel well and it arrived perfect. I’m currently enjoying a slice of smashing pumpkin here in middle Tennessee, and it’s incredible. 💜
The Dubai Chocolate Croissant was amazing. The perfect balance of sweet (but not overpowering ) and salty. Absolute perfection !
