Cravings And More Bakery

Very well appointed cafe in terms of design and layout. While the atmosphere was good and the menu speaks of a wonderful fare, the food left me very disappointed. The mediterranean fare ( I guess that is what it was trying to imitate ?) was big on presentation and very low on substance. The steak sandwich I ordered was heavy on bread and grilled bell peppers, onions and very, very little steak (medallions). I scraped the contents off the bread and ate the contents of the sandwich without the cuban roll. I would suggest ordering a PhillyCheese steak sandwich at Publix to get your money's worth. The potato salad was very good. We ordered a strawberry crape to share with our friends and the waitress brought these huge plates for four divided portions the size of boiled egg. We had and nothing to serve the crepe with nowhere to put the plates. Never got a refill on our waters and I thought the service was very sub-par. One waitress, (not experienced) and too many tables. If you are looking for place that looks good, serves with great tableware, is the latest place in the "cafe buzz" in St Augustine, then this might meet your needs. If you are looking for good food with good portions and good service, this is not the place to spend your time and certainly not your money. The bakery seemed to be well stocked, but unsure of the cost and quality. Just another "upscale cafe" in St. Augustine that did not provide good quality food, but will gladly charge you handsomely for it. I will not be spending my time or money there again. Nice try "Cravings", your place certainly looks good, but you are missing the mark in providing good food, adequate portions and good service in my opinion.

Absolutely Delicious Food. When we sat down we noticed the music was a bit loud and asked them to please lower it a bit.

They changed the music to a more relaxing station, which we appreciated very much. ?.

The Customer Service was Amazing and the Food was so delicious and fresh. We will come here again.

On a small 7 day trip around the St. Augustine, Florida area, my wife and I had the chance to have breakfast every morning at surrounding diners. Out of all of them Cravings was, by far, the best. Although, most of the others were ok, Cravings definitely had better quality food and better quantity of portions! Hands down!!
Although there prices were a little bit higher, it was well worth it due to the larger portions, the better quality of food and how well it was prepared. On top of that, they have a great selection of fresh coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, I could’ve bought a gallon of to take home. There’s also a great selection of fresh pastries to cure anyone’s sweet tooth.
The staff, there are very courteous, friendly and they really did make us feel right at home. This is a, definite, hidden gem in the Saint Augustine, Florida area!! If we ever get back there again , Cravings will be our go to place every morning for breakfast. Highly recommended! Definitely a winner!

I had the Chivito plate, and I have to say that I was disappointed with the quality of the meat, ham & bacon.

The piece of meat was very hard to chew even though it was cut very thin. Instead of having a slice of thick ham, I had two regular sandwich ham slices, and two small slices of bacon.

Meat, ham and bacon were covered/smothered with cheese which only made the bacon soggy.

The only good thing about this place for the eggs and the homemade potatoes.
