Currently staying at an air BNB less than a block from here. First timers- but Maria made us feel like regulars. She gave excellent recommendations and our breakfast was AMAZING! We had the western burrito - Mexican style. Delish! I had the Drakes breakfast- it was amazing ing! The homemade biscuits and gravy hit the spot!! The ham was delicious and not salty as some hams can be. Maria brought us dátil hot sauce which complimented the eggs nicely. We will be back!!

Great local deli! My husband and I stopped by for a late lunch and we were blown away! I was torn between the Ruben or a cheesesteak. I ended up going with the Ruben and it hit the spot! The rye bread was fresh and grilled to perfection! I got corned beef & pastrami, and I suggest you do the same! My husband got the Italian stallion, and he took our serves advice, he got it toasted added aioli! Out of this world! Also suggest the homemade chips and the macaroni salad! Thanks for a great fresh lunch!

Front of the house seems pretty clueless. Really poor service when we called in the order and left us waiting while she spoke with another customer without putting the call on hold. When I went to pick up the food they left me sitting there for 20 minutes and told me that the kitchen was working on the order until I heard them talking that the order had never been started. The food is good though.

Delicious sandwich spot with beautiful people taking care of you. The kitchen crew handles their business putting together some crafty eats. Helen & Maria hooked us up and made us feel like regulars. We had Drake's Last A Stand and a Gobble Gobble. Couldn't finish either one.

If you want the best sandwich you ever put your mouth on you better get to drakes! This lunch spot is comfortable, service is top notch, prices are reasonable and the food is damn good! Ate there twice this week and honestly would be my go to lunch spot from here on out when I come down to my St. Augustine property! See you all again in the months to come!
Wow! Great atmosphere - and awesome food! It smelled so good - I forgot to take a picture of my Philly cheesesteak sandwich! Get the fries as a side - great deal there… Teagan was wonderful server. Favorite place so far on this vacation. I got a sweet tea and the datil cheese steak. The sweet tea was really good and just the right amount of sweet. The cheese steak was the best I've ever had. It was quality ingredients and all the flavors meshed very well together. The datil pepper sauce was super good. It was so good I got extra on the side to add to the sandwich. It had the perfect amount of natural sweetness but I do wish it was a little spicier. Server was awesome. She brought us a to go bag and the check at perfect times. We didn't have to ask for them and we also didn't feel rushed.
I've walked past this restaurant for years. I regret not stopping in before now. It is now a go-to place for us. A hidden gem in St Augustine, FL
