Horrible horrible experience. I walked in, there was no line and waited a few minutes before the girl working even acknowledged me. After she took my order, which was just a hot coffee and blueberry muffin, I sat for 20minutes and waited for my order. After a few minutes went by, I asked about my order since I was the only one waiting, and she told me she had 4 other orders ahead of me (I can assume they were online orders?). It’s shocking to me that she would not finish her orders here in the shop before online. Will never be coming here again.

I’m a regular here, usually stopping by Monday mornings around 8am on my way to work. I love this place—the coffee is great, and the cozy vibe inside makes it a perfect start to my day. The only issue I’ve run into during my last four visits is with the QR code scanning. I use a prepaid gift card on my app, and it often takes about five minutes to get it to work. Hopefully this can be smoothed out so the checkout process is as enjoyable as everything else here!

Recently visited this coffee co. and I will definitely return. Good coffee and excellent pastries. The tall, red headed girl was very pleasant and had great personality.

Foxtail Coffee is hands-down one of the best coffee spots we've ever visited—not just in St. Augustine, but anywhere! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both cozy and elevated. The rustic-modern decor, soft lighting, and local art make it a perfect place to relax, work, or catch up with friends.

The coffee? Absolutely phenomenal. Whether you're a purist who loves a perfectly balanced espresso or someone who enjoys specialty lattes with creative flavors, Foxtail nails it every time. Their beans are clearly high-quality, and the baristas are true artisans—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft.

We tried the orange rose ice tea and the peach summer ice tea. Both were divine: smooth, subtly sweet, and incredibly refreshing on a warm Florida day. Their pastries and breakfast items are also worth mentioning—fresh, thoughtfully made, and way better than your average coffee shop fare.

What truly sets Foxtail apart is the vibe. It’s got that local charm without trying too hard, and you can tell it’s a place that values community as much as quality. Whether you're a local or just visiting, make sure you stop in. It’ll be your new favorite spot, guaranteed.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more reviews—because it’s amazing!

Foxtail St. Augustine is truly a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee? Absolutely delicious, rich, smooth, and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in every cup they serve.

Even though the location isn’t on the most noticeable corner due to nearby construction, don’t let that stop you, this place is worth finding. Once inside, it’s beautiful, clean, and full of charm. There’s also plenty of parking, which is always a plus in St. Augustine!

The customer service was top-notch, friendly, attentive, and genuine. My kids ordered ice cream and they LOVED it.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to read a book, catch up on some work on your laptop, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee in a peaceful space, this is the spot.

Foxtail is definitely on our list of favorite places now. Don’t miss out—go check it out and thank me later!

I made my order the previous night and 2 items apparently were not available, but the store had no way of getting in touch with me. I also tried to call this morning and the phone rang and rang with no answer! So frustrating.I was late to work, customers are coming in and only 1 individual here to serve us all!!

The lady that was working definitely had no sense of humor, completely bleh, asked if she could heat up the coffee that was supposed to be hot and she looks around for a microwave. Like you don't know what you have?! The vanilla caramel iced coffee and it didn't even taste good at all, asked for some extra sugar and it was still nasty.

Best tasting coffee in St. Augustine!!? Puts all others to shame. And Sam, who runs the joint, is top notch
