Delivery order for $80. Never received food. The use 3rd party drivers who don't care. Still waiting for refund. Just the absolute worst!!
I ordered today through doordash. I ordered sesame chicken and boneless spare ribs. Both orders tasted like soap/cleaning agents. It tasted like Fabuloso smells. I feel like my mouth was washed out with soap. My co-worker tasted the egg roll and also confirmed it tasted like soap. I don't know if they didn't rinse their cook wear out well enough, but I wont be ordering from here again.
I've found Great Wall to be the better Chinese restaurant to order from now in 2025.
My opinion is definitely different from the 1st time I ordered here way back, I'm glad I tried them again and I'll continue to go there for Very Good take out near me.
They are the only one who uses real Chinese vegetables, Not zucchini like others...
I love that bc Bok Choy, baby corn, mushrooms and other Chinese vegetables are what I love !!
Their prices are better than others, soups delicious and I want others to try them too !!
Full lunch for 2 with appetizer is under 30$ 31$ with 10%tip.
It's not fancy or eat in but for take away it's the Best IMO, give them a try Rt in the Publix shopping center on Sr 16 St Augustine...
Pepper steak and shrimp and vegetables and pork fried wonton. Hot and sour soup and egg drop soup all delicious and not mixed up in the container pork fried rice(included) on one side and your food on the other side !
Happy Chinese New Year Great Wall !!!
I’ve ordered delivery from them twice now, and I’m thoroughly impressed! They take great care in packing the food—stapling the containers shut to avoid spills and securely twisting the egg roll packaging. The food arrived hot, fresh, and full of flavor without being overly salty. Everything tasted amazing, and I truly appreciate the consistent quality each time. One of the best Chinese places in my opinion! Highly recommend them for delicious food and thoughtful service.
Possibly the worst Chinese I've ever had. The hot and sour soup was a burnt dark brown, it had an almost jello like consistency, I had one sip and dumped the rest. The Mongolian beef left me wondering, where's the beef.
Third time's a charm.
Never again.
I really love this place. But they forgot my white rice today with my general tso chicken.
I will still go back.
The egg rolls are bomb.
Wouldn't except my email!!!!!!
I'm a big fan of Great Wall because I don't have to add anything for their food to taste good. Their lo mein in particular is better than any of the other local places.

The food is great and the people are very nice. This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in St. Augustine. We visit Great Wall for lunch often. They should consider putting their menu and phone number online. That way we can even view it on our phone and call in our order no matter where we are. They can get an easy do-it-yourself point-&-click website for only $5 a month at Acme Domain Names. The link is http://www.acmedomainnames.com.
Food is pretty good. Eaten here often. Not sure why it gets so much hate on Yelp. As a New York Jew, the place is good.

Worst food ever I had. Ribs were chewy, egg roll was burnt and nothing in it. How can you mess up fried rice? Never again! Wonton soup terrible.

I never want to leave a bad review and always want to support local restaurants, but after just getting yelled at for asking why the chow Mein doesn’t have noodles… I will never be back to Great Wall. I wish the lady at the register learns customer how to be nice and say thank you to customers.Response: I ordered chow Mein. Which should have noodles. Regardless, you are very mean and I tried my hardest to be nice and polite. Most owners would reply “sorry for the miscommunication” or something to a response to a customer.
