Harry’s was such a fantastic dining experience and one of our favorite meals of the weekend.

Our server, Jack, was wonderful — super friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations that we absolutely loved. He really made the experience even better.

We started with the boudin balls, which were fantastic, but the remoulade sauce that came with them was next level — honestly insane in the best way. We also ordered the sausage with red beans and rice and ended up taking it home for dinner later. It looked delicious though and I’m sure will be as yummy as everything else we had!

The crispy chicken sandwich was delicious, with a really flavorful sriracha aioli that tied everything together perfectly. The standout for me, though, was the grit cakes with Tasso ham cream sauce — easily one of the best things we ate all weekend. My husband ordered the blackened redfish encrusted with blue crab and smashed potatoes, and it was incredible down to the very last bite.

We sat outdoors, and when it started to sprinkle, they even brought us umbrellas, which was such a thoughtful touch. The outdoor area is beautiful, inviting, dog-friendly, and decorated so well — it really added to the overall experience.

Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We would absolutely recommend Harry’s to anyone visiting St. Augustine and would happily return ourselves.

The food was delicious. Was told a 1.5 hour wait and it ended up being only 30 minutes during peak nights of lights. Bethany was awesome! Super friendly and attentive! Made our experience amazing!

I have to edit my review I went here for a second time and had the absolute worst experience. I was sat wit myself another person and a child. We waited at a table for 20 minutes no water no waiter no staff to take our order. We eventually left. Never to return again.

Harry’s Seafood Bar & Grille absolutely lived up to the hype—and then some. From the moment we sat down, everything from the atmosphere to the service felt welcoming, energetic, and authentically St. Augustine with that classic Louisiana-Creole flair.
The food was outstanding across the board—bold flavors, perfectly cooked seafood, and generous portions that make every bite memorable. Every dish tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor, the kind of meal you’re still talking about long after you’ve left.
It was so good that we literally came back a week later for lunch, even though it’s a two-hour drive for us. That alone says everything. You don’t do that unless a place is truly worth it—and Harry’s absolutely is.
If you’re in St. Augustine and wondering where to eat, make this a priority stop. And if you’re not nearby? Honestly… it might still be worth the drive.

Do NOT let them sit you inside to the left of the door where the bathroom is. Also, be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes for appetizers. (We did). Food was serviceable but nothing to write home about. The entire experience was quite disappointing. We will NOT be returning.

We did not get any food, just a Bloddy Mary and it was hands down, the best one in town! Beautiful atmosphere and the courtyard is purely delightful. Will get a meal next time!

Harry’s Seafood, Bar and Grill was amazing! It was the best creole food I had since I have lived in the USA. I had the shrimp and chicken creole. The portions are very big and I would recommend sharing a plate, rather than ordering two entrees. The beautiful garden makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. It was the best meal I had in St-Augustine during my 3 day trip.

Food as always is outstanding. Harry's is by far my favorite seafood restaurant. They a bit pricey however, given that everything is fresh and even their salad dressing are made in house from scratch. Well worth the price and the wait.

We were searching for a place where we could have a flavorful dinner. I had shrimp with grits that was delicious. My husband had the Mahi Mahi, which was tender and juicy.

We have been to Harry's in St Augustine many times. What made this time extra special was our waiter, Danny! Even though we ordered our favorites, Danny suggested several menu items. My 95 year old aunt ordered hot chocolate, but he told her they did not have it. Next thing we know, he brings her hot chocolate. Danny did suggest the butter pecan cheesecake and it was delicious. All our drinks, appetizers , meals and desserts were delicious. Danny made this trip to Harrys extra special. He was so attentive and personable. We will return every time we are in St Augustine. Please commend Danny for his excellent service! He so deserves it!

Total letdown recently. We've been locals for 8 years, and regularly go to Harry's. We used to travel here prior and it was always a must have when visiting.
Positives:
- We got in surprisingly quick and staff was nice. The feel and location of the place was amazing as always.
Negatives:
- Only until after we ordered, we were told that they had no bread. The bread and herb butter is a must have. We were told they didn't get the days order 3 hours prior. Not a deal breaker, but why was staff not just sent to a nearby Publix or Winn Dixie to buy bread?
- Our drinks didn't arrive before appetizers. In fact, they didn't arrive until just after the main course plates were set down.
- I ordered Redfish Royale, which is usually amazing. I've had it dozens of times. In fact, I catch this same fish not even a few hundred yards away from the restaurant in our boat. However, this night, it had the bloodline and was probably the most fishy Redfish I've ever had. Couldn't finish it. Manager was nice and did remove it.
- I ordered a second beer and it came with the bill. Didn't have time to drink it before we left as it felt like the table was needed.
We will continue to try again, but it feels like the quality is decreasing, almost in the same way other tourist town restaurants seem to stop caring about quality (or locals) because the tourist that wont return still bring profit. Hopefully, it turns around.
