Sandwiches are light on the meat. Just had a famous Philly Cheese Steak- more bread than anything. Waiting for Publix to reopen.

I had a really good experience here, followed by a really poor experience.

The first time, there was a handicapped staff member, and seeing the other staff help and interact with him was heartwarming. My food was ready, everyone was friendly and smiling.

The next time in was a different staff. One guy had decided to make everything himself, and had a mess of half made sandwiches and angry customers. My app told me to pickup my order, but it was nowhere near ready. The cook dropped the phone into the food, he dropped his hat into the food, and kept on like it was no thing.

My order was wrong, my order had both a hat and a phone in it while it was being made.

I was refused a refund, because I had paid in the app.

I won't be back.

If I could give a 0* review, I would. The food and atmosphere are like normal for a Jersey Mike’s, but the service was among the worst I’ve ever experienced…

My husband and I split up to get lunch, him a sub, and me Chinese next door. He went in as the second person in line, and they weren’t busy. Come to find out, this store HEAVILY prioritizes mobile orders; I was able to order Chinese, receive my food, and eat before my husband’s order was taken inside.

The employees were working as hard as ever to prepare a list of mobile orders, while completely ignoring the long line that was beginning to form.

When it was finally his turn to order, after a ridiculous 35 minutes, a simple turkey + provolone, the employee completely fumbled the order and had to remake the sandwich.

And to top it all off, their drink fountain was out of order for several options.

Moral of the story, if you go to eat here, mobile order from your car, and it’ll be done long before anyone in line!

I love jersey mikes but owner needs to hire 1-2 more people per shift.., there was two people during a rush time and we all waited 30 minutes... add one more to help make sandwhile another works on online orders! Sandwiches are so good though

Are beard nets not a thing anymore at this location ? Is that up to code ?

We had 2 mini subs. We opened them 20 minutes after picking up. There was oil all over the paper and the bread was soaked.

We’ve been loyal Jersey Mike’s customers for years, visiting locations all over without issue—until we walked into this particular St. Augustine store. My pregnant wife simply asked if they could heat up the meat on the grill, per her doctor’s recommendation to avoid cold deli meats. To our surprise, the staff told us it was *against their policy* and refused to accommodate her.

Now, I know what you’re thinking—*why go to Jersey Mike’s if you need your meat heated?* Well, we’ve been to plenty of other locations where this has never been a problem. They’ve always been more than willing to throw the meat on the grill for a few minutes. We were craving some subs, and what better place than Jersey Mike’s for one of their badass sandwiches?

According to the staff, this policy was put in place by the *owner* of this location, who also owns the store at **833 S Ponce De Leon Blvd Ste 2, St. Augustine, FL**. Perhaps in his mind, taking the extra time to heat up the meat disrupts his “system” for making subs and, in some shape or form, reduces his ROI. But really? Are we prioritizing shaving a few seconds off the sandwich-making process over basic customer service and human decency?

It’s frustrating that something as simple as heating up meat—something that other locations have no issue doing—can be restricted by an individual franchise owner. Shouldn’t corporate have a basic *umbrella policy* that all stores abide by, ensuring consistency across locations?

Unfortunately, this owner decided that a simple, reasonable request—one that would have taken *maybe* two extra minutes—was too much of an inconvenience. Is it really that hard to accommodate a pregnant woman following medical guidance, ensuring the health of her child, while also allowing her to enjoy a sub like everyone else?

While we’ve loved Jersey Mike’s for years, this experience left a bad taste in our mouths. If certain locations aren’t willing to meet basic, reasonable requests, then we’re more than happy to take our business elsewhere. Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it.

The owner needs to hire one more person for lunch rush . Stood by the pick up rack for my door dash for over an hour. They are working as fast as they can it’s not their fault it’s the owner’s fault.

Should put bread on paper wrap first , not on the counter. Even though they say they clean it, but they can't the same dirty rag. I will never go there it is dirty. Should train them had to be cleaner with the food and on the Counters. Believe it or not you're not the only place that does this. You need to train the people Better

Just want to say how impressed I am with the young associate that was working today 3:30pm. I'm sorry I did not get her name. She looked to be late teens or early twenty's. Anyway a guy came in and tried to skip a couple of us in line. She politely told him that he needed to get in the back of the line just before I was about to....

Great job for your professionalism! The sandwich was very good to.
