I just don't love that a $11 caramel apple had the chocolate blooming. A lot of times when chocolate blooms, it takes away the best flavor. Don't think I would come back after this. There was also a gentleman cutting the fudge and his dirty shirt was heavily leaning on top of it multiple times. Just not as sanitary as I'd like.

John and I will always be fans of Kilwins. We love their ice cream and fresh waffle cones. On this occasion I snagged some truffles and chocolate covered orange peels- one of my favorites! John went with ice cream, he almost always has room for ice cream and we took a seat off St George St to enjoy our treats. These locations have late hours- especially on the weekends and St Augustine was hopping. Always a good stop.

Sad to see the decline in service at this establishment. We went to get ice cream for a child (1scoop) and not only could the two boys working there not be able to tell me what flavor blue moon was, but his response was “ I couldn’t tell ya”. No effort to find out. The two boys were more interested in talking and laughing with each other than helping customers. Last time we visit that establishment! It would also be nice if the prices were posted somewhere because I would not have paid 7.50 for a single child’s scoop.

Sad to see the decline of this St George St staple. Kids running it. No greeting. No smile. Just dead-eyed stares. No longer getting what you pay for. Only order a cup if you want a child’s serving size. The cone is a much better value at a dollar more. I ate the entire (small amount) cup while standing in line to pay. After 20ish years, I'm done.

We stopped in yesterday for a quick sweet treat before our next tour. You could smell the waffle cones from the streets. LOL The ice cream was delicious and the perfect mid day snack.

There are so many better places for ice cream in St Augustine… we made the wrong choice with this one. Super expensive & pretty bland all served up by kids who would rather be anywhere else. If you want ice creams go to Mayday instead.

Rude rude immature workers!! Makes it an awful experience! Teenagers can be trained to be respectful and polite! Do better Kilwins!

It was perfect for the cold weather. We sat in the courtyard of the St. George Inn and drank it while listening to the singer that was there.

I was in tonight and it was packed. Line out the door. There was only 3 employees working and as I’m thinking to myself where is a manager to come help bail them out so they aren’t in the weeds like a good manager should do someone comes out (I’m assuming a “manager” he was in a blue shirt. He walked around looked at the line out the door. Looked at the employees drowning and needing help and literally didn’t do anything. He cleaned something that could have waited to look busy instead of helping staff and the customers. Your business and employees are only as good as your managers and your managers need HELP and need to learn that just because they are now “managers” doesn’t mean they don’t have to still scoop ice cream or run the register or pick up the slack where it’s needed. I feel horrible for the staff that was working tonight. The girl and guy working the ergo were lovely tho and all 3 employees were working super hard. Everyone except the “manager”/guy in the blue shirt

It’s a the best place for ice cream, If you are in St.Augustine. You should definitely try this place. I loved the flavors, they have got handful variety of flavors. This store is always busy with people but still they will serve you patiently.
