As a British person, I would not use this place as an example of an English experience, far from it. The food is horrible and is nothing like UK products.
They've taken local food and manipulated it to be different, imported a few expensive items to carry the idea, and overcharge as much as possible. The kissass service is to flease you for a tip. The place survives on a few locals swinging by for game night or two with a sorry big screen.
It needs proper management.
To any visitor, please dont imagine this be English or British quality....it is not !

The first time I saw on google maps this restaurant I wanted so badly to visit it and have the British food experience by my first time. We did it and in my personal experience this is the kind of places you go and won’t come back. The waitress was really kind. I had the famous fish and chips but it was so greasy! The fish did not have good flavor and I got sick.My husband had shepherd’s pie it was good. Prices are $$$. The decoration it’s beautiful and they have taking into account small details.

Such a fun place to visit. The King’s Head British pub is a bit in the middle of nowhere though not inconveniently far from things. It is on Route One, north of the St Aug airport and south of Palencia. It has a very authentic British pub feel with amazing beers on tap, very good British food and even a cider or two. Some other reviewers had referred to it as cozy or warm. They are on the mark. I had the fish and chips which had a piece of haddock that was the size of my forearm. My lovely wife had a cheese and broccoli quiche. We shared a peach and cream tart which was delicious and incredibly difficult to explain….apologies for not taking pictures.

This is definitely a great place to spend an hour or two and forget you are not in the UK.

Absolutely amazing! Wife and I stopped for a drink and end up getting dinner here last night was so good, love the atmosphere, driving by today on our way back to our hotel and had to stop to grab lunch again! Will absolutely be back every time I’m in town, highly highly recommend. If you’re questioning if this is place to grab a bite or a drink it absolutely it is!!

Food is amazing, most authentic British cuisine. Try the Fisherman’s pie if you’re looking for comfort food , but the fish and chips is my personal fave. Great people , awesome atmosphere, great chill spot to grab a Guinness!! This has become my fave lunch / Dinner spot!!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars …. Food is soooooo fresh

Kings Head is a really cool authentic English pub smack in the middle of old Florida. They’ve created a fantastic vibe both inside and out, with a real old London bus, red phone booth, and lovely outdoor garden seating. Inside, you’ll feel like you’ve teleported back to a proper small town pub. The décor and careful curation are nearly perfect. Food offerings are authentically English too. We enjoyed fish, chips, sausage rolls, and I sipped a Fuller’s London Pride on draught for the first time since last being in the UK. What a special surprise! I sincerely recommend paying a visit to Kings Head for a uniquely British experience if you’re ever in this neck of the woods.

We have been faithful patrons for years but today I must say our meals were awful. No cod, so we took as suggested the haddock and for $23.00 it was horrible. The fish was greasy and lacking flavor. The new fries were okay but I missed the steak fries. Thinking it would rebound I asked for desserts. Chocolate cake? Where's the rhubarb pies, it's season. No sticky toffee pudding? For $50.00 plus 20% tip I feel like we won't be back. Also missing some familiar faces, I asked if there was a new owner. The cod and fries at Culver's for half the price was twice as good.Reading some reviews I see I'm not the only one disappointed.Sorry to wrote this but hopefully after a bit we will try aging.
