Limited menu, but the food was delicious. The roasted oysters were fabulous, as were the peri peri chicken and the seafood Del Mar in coconut broth (not too sweet, thank goodness). Dessert was coconut pana cotta and I could have eaten a second one. It was that good! Service professional and friendly.
Best lobster bisque.

Third time was not a charm. I have eaten here twice and loved it. If you have any dietary restrictions or need to substitute anything this is not the place for you. Take or leave it on their very limited menu. This time the chef refused to modify a sandwich. I asked for the turkey to be taken off. They said no.
In addition, it’s 35 out and we sat inside- and they have no heat. So giant bust. I won’t be back.
The owners reply just confirms what I said in my review. Their menu is take it or leave it.
The only other vegetarian options are salad and fries....

Very nice dining experience. Food and service was excellent. Live classical guitar after the meal was a plus.
Service was great. The waitress we had was very attentive, patient, and accommodating. The food was passable, but I have been told by friends that my standards are too high. The charcuterie board was as expected. The salmon shrimp ceviche was good, but could have been diced finer for a more balanced mouth feel. The shrimp and pork belly po boy was okay. The fried shrimp was slightly salty, and the pork belly was not as tender as I would prepare it myself. The aioli was perfect. All in all, I think it is a fair price for the experience. (We were there for lunch) Oh, the plating was perfect as well.
Was a wonderful experience from the hostess greeting to dessert Food was superb and George our waiter was perfectly attentive Can't wait to go back!
Nice place to go for a dinner with family or friends.
I got the Lobster Bisque soup and their Sea Bass.
The sea bass was soft and flaky. The soup was warm and delicious.
Service was pleasant.
If you visit Saint Augustine, this is a nice spot off of the main strip to enjoy dinner/drinks!

Karen our server was very nice. We enjoyed our meals and especially how the food came out hot. We ordered the short rib and the Chilean sea-bass and both were very good. Drink selection was also very good. We will definitely go back.
We happened upon this restaurant/bar purely by luck! Amazing evening with Erin and Nico at the bar this evening! We enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board, wine, & an amazing chocolate dessert that completed our night! Erin was amazing and made me WISH I was a local to be able to come here more often!! She sealed the deal with her awesome service that this place would definitely be on my list to return to on my next trip!

I want to start by saying Kateryna saved this entire experience!
We happened upon the location after visiting the winery. It was pretty cool being 12/30/25 and it was getting late. Since we are visiting, we decided not to drive around and opted to try this location.
We went to the host stand and there was a young lady and a young man there. They were looking a little down their noses at us, but whatever. I didn't see a dress code at the door. Again, it was cool outside that day, so I had on a long sleeve t-shirt and hubby had on his mossy oak pullover. We were asked if we had reservations, and we didn't, so the young lady said, there's room out in the patio.
I'm like, it's cold - almost didn't get to finish my sentence and was told there are heaters out there. They're heaters didn't do to much, after I tested it. I came back indoors and was about to have my husband get our outwear from the car, when Kateryna came and told us there was an indoor table available, but would be needed at 6:50pm. It was nearly 5:30, so, plenty of time. THANK YOU, KATERYNA!!!
Kateryna was attentive and quick to respond from the water all the way to the bill. Our food was wonderful! No room, sadly, for dessert. I can't help but wonder if it was the way we were dressed or that we were an interracial couple which prompted the hostess to immediately suggest outside. Either way, I'm glad Kateryna jumped in.

First off, this is a grownups resteraunt and I wouldn't bring children. The menu is gormet and the atmosphere is quiet dining in a small personal setting. I recommend the duck as many restaurants do not prepare it correctly. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the lamb. The house sangria is good too!

Warning: Vegetarians are second class citizens at La Cocina at the Cellar Upstairs and their snobbish chef will treat you like a basement dweller.
Their current chef refused to make a sandwich without the turkey deli meat which is like refusing to not remove onions, lettuce or tomato from a sandwich.
Very disappointing since this same restaurant had previously made the same meatless sandwich for my vegetarian wife on two separate occasions.
We won’t go back and if you have food restrictions or allergies, don’t waste your time with this snooty line cook.

Waiting about 20 minutes to get served. The service was ok but the food was great.

Firstly, what a wonderful experience. We honestly didn't know exactly what to expect going in, but wow—from the very beginning to the very end, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and thoughtfully curated, making it absolutely perfect for a romantic date night. The food truly took the experience to another level. The pulpo and ceviche were absolutely out of this world—fresh, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor. And the tres leches dessert was, hands down, the best I've ever had. Every moment felt special, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. Truly a memorable experience that we would happily recommend.
