I came for a birthday and had requested an inside table and when we arrived they could not accommodate. Food was overcooked and tasteless

La Nouvelle is a true 5 star French bistro! The atmosphere of the historical setting, the extensive wine list, the delicious and authentic French cuisine, and the knowledgeable and amiable staff all made it a very memorable experience.
We had a great discussion of French wines and enjoyed a wonderful French Bordeaux with Claudio, the Sommelier, as we had our first course of Foie Gras Torchon and accompaniments, which did not disappoint.
We then moved on to the absolutely incredible Beet Terrine, which, I do not hesitate to say, is one of the best salads I have ever had.
The Côte de Boeuf was perfectly cooked, tender, and served with amazing Pommes Aligot, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
To end the meal we split the L'Orange and the Pot de Creme, which were both extraordinary.
Kudos to Chef, to Claudio, and to Renee, our server, for an exceptional job.

La Nouvelle is always a great experience with good food and incredible service! Huge shoutouts to Bob for always making excellent wine recommendations and for explaining the geography/history of the wine, and Jessie for always making the experience feel relaxed and customized by expertfully coursing things out and making great suggestions.
The service was very good and the food good but not great. French fries with a $50+ steak was a little disappointing. Limited menu sure wouldn't bring you back to try new things. Lack of full liquor license disappointed a couple of our guests.
La Nouvelle has consistently been good but this time they missed the mark a little. All the food was bland on both dishes and the espresso was served cold. Too bad bc it was Valentines Day and an underwhelming experience.
This was a top-notch brunch/lunch experience from start to finish. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about both the delicious food and the wine selection, which made everything even more enjoyable. My wife had the Pain Française, and I ordered the Steak au Poivre, the best I've ever had. The food was outstanding, and we highly recommend this place!!!
The food was wonderful! We highly recommend!! Our table on the porch gave us a wonderful view of historic St Augustine that truly added to our enjoyment of our dinner.
If you’re in Saint Augustine and want a more upscale dining experience, La Nouvelle is perfect. Not only was our server Dean exceptional, he was so knowledgeable about the menu, suggested a perfect wine pairing based on what we ordered, and was just so kind and energizing. You can feel the love and respect for French cooking in the food you’re eating. A thoughtfully crafted menu, a staff that takes pride, and a lovely, cozy, welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend!

Ate on the porch. Food was excellent as always and staff wonderful. Offered recommendations. Great night
A gem that's just off the beaten path and fray of St. A's Old Quarter. Very well executed French cuisine, a young but well trained staff, in a beautiful a quiet setting in Lincolnville. We had lunch on our first visit, then returned the next day for brunch. Their quiche is amazing, as is their extensive wine list. 5 stars!
We loved this place. Sat outside and there was a heater and they offered us blankets. Fantastic wine list and food was outstanding.
This was our best dining experience in historic St. Augustine. It is a quaint, upscale French bistro centrally located in the historical district. The evening started with the very friendly host walking us to our romantic table for two. The sommelier, Bob, greeted us almost immediately with a warm introduction and recommendations from the curated menu. We ordered the Escargot, Dirty Cesar Salad and Steak Tartare and each did NOT disappoint with delicate flavors, artistic presentation and generous portions. Bob chose the best wine pairing for my picky palate. And finally we shared their signature dish, the Bouillabaisse and it was nothing short of perfection! Our server was attentive and very sweet. The desert was just as decadent, the profiteroles. I can’t wait to visit again! This is definitely not a place you want to miss and well worth the price point! Reserve your table well in advance.
