First time we have been to this place since we moved to St. Augustine. The outside of the old house leads you to believe it is to be passed by. Waitress was awesome other waitress even helped us out. This tasty place is a hidden gem amongst all the cookie cutter garbage popping up in St Augustine. It's refreshing to have an old school standby for a good breakfast.

Cozy and quaint breakfast restaurant right off the main drag in St. Augustine. A few different seating areas including a screened in front porch. The food was delicious, especially the powdered sugar French toast, but it took a while to be served after ordering. I caught them on an off day, with a call-out or two and a busy Monday morning. But it still took close to 45 minutes to get my food, which was just too long.

Very disappointed in this small restaurant. It had been closed for a while so we thought we would help out and give them business when we realized they were open again. Total waste of money! Ruben, which they said was world famous was the worse I have ever had. Very sloppy, greasy and non appetizing. Bread top was not grilled much and bottem bread was burnt.Couldn't even hold it. Fries were so greasy we couldn't even eat many of them. Waitress never asked us about how our food was, nor refreshed our drinks. Food was slow in coming. If I could give them a 0 ranking, I would. Kitchen is very messy when you peak inside. We will never go back.

I use to love this restaurant but it went down hill. ordered a meal that came with toast ut was burnt and asked if I could d get some new ones perfect toast came out but the lady that brought them out must not have been happy about have to make new slices seems like it eoyld have been simple request.. she actually came c to my table and because she must have forgot to cut the toast didn't bother me she proceeded to pick up tge toast with her bate hands and ripped it in half for me both slices I wad so disgusted we didn't eat anything else.... we haven't returned

Stopped here on my way outta town. Exactly what I was looking for. A locally owned personal place with yummy food. There are reviews that have complained about the wait. If you want “fast food” you have other less yummy choices. What I saw was a friendly staff doing there best to accommodate the customers while dealing with the staff shortage we all are experiencing.

Its Ok for a slow paced breakfast. Food was cold. That means it must have sat there waiting for the waitress to bring it. I don't send food back so 3 stars. Even if the food was warm at best it's four stars. Hence the name Leroy's hole in the wall cafe.

Breakfast was not what was ordered and the place did not smell good. Needs a good cleaning .

waitress seemed nice at first, then made a comment about how much food i ordered that made me entirely lose my appetite. i’d barely eaten anything the day before and hadn’t eaten breakfast yet, i ordered 2 pancakes and 5 fried eggs. the way she tried to convince me to order less food made me entirely lose my appetite. i took my order back, but almost an hour later my boyfriend finally got his very cold home fries, tasteless gravy, and stale biscuit. fox news is always playing in the dining area. if you want cold food and a demeaning waitress, i totally recommend this place

the sausage tasted of soap. the gravy tasted of water and sadness. the biscuit was stale. the eggs and home fries were cold and damp. the waitress commented on the amount of food my girlfriend ordered making her entirely lose her appetite. this is not a place where happy people go to eat. beware

It's a great local place to eat. Always a friendly environment when we visit. Also love the covered outdoor picnic table seating.

Sat in outside dining to avoid Covid.. waitress took our order and also a very long time to bring out our food.. all I have to say about this place is “slop”… idk who’s cooking but “slop”.. any place that piles food on top of other food needs to be slapped for the slop they just served.. as you can see.. the food mountain starts with eggs, topped with sausage, topped with busicuits, topped with gravy… and a sprinkle of breakfast potatos…? sorry Leroy.. I thinks there’s a song about you called bad bad Leroy brown..mind you we waited an hour after ordering to get this translucent gravy of a mess..

Ordered biscuits and gravy last Saturday, it was cold and flavorless the gravy was powder mix with water and there was a dried ring around the edge of the plate. Waitress only had three tables in the hole restaurant and did not refill coffee for me or another table next to me we both had to walk up to the counter to ask. Never asked how the food was. I don't believe they wanted to know ..Don't waste your money here !

This place looked really awesome and I just had to stop in! It had all the hallmarks of the nice little mom and pop diner that I like to go to when I'm in towns away from homeThey have two nice inside areas and a patio. I chose to sit on the patio they brought me a menu asked me for my drinks and promptly forgot about me. Sat there about 25 minutes and realized I would not have enough time to have my breakfast and be to work by the deadline. I have to admit I was cutting it a little tight, but they weren't so busy that they couldn't have taken care of me.I may try again another time, but if I sit on the patio I'll tap on the window to remind them that I'm there! Perhaps then I can comment on the food and environment.
