My fiancé and I go in semi regularly as we live about a mile away. We got there at what I thought was 45+ minutes to closing (asked Siri for the hours on the drive over). When we walked in, there was a girl in the back that came out a few minutes later with a super aggressive attitude and visibly frustrated with us being there. All but threw the scoops back in the holder after scooping both of our ice cream. Then as we were paying, she snarkily told us we can sit until they close in 10 minutes. I didn’t realize the info Siri/Apple Maps gave me was wrong and i know we’ve been there much later than we were tonight with no issues.

That said, I worked in restaurants for nearly a decade, people come in right before closing and it sucks but there’s always a better way to handle those situations than being completely and utterly unpleasant. We don’t expect great service as we are aware (from what I’ve noticed after years of going here) teenagers make up the entire staff, but this was over all a very cringey experience. Honestly she could have just said “bear with me, we’re closing soon and I’m the only one here” (im assuming she was the only one there) instead of pretty much throwing a fit the entire time she interacted with us and ending the transaction with a snide comment.

Also a better way to store the cones than out in the open on the counter would be a nice upgrade because they do get stale.

We arrived just before 9:30 and had a large order and James and Kaleigh took GREAT care of us! They both assisted us with excellent customer service and our ice cream was amazing! We will definitely be back - thanks again James and Kaleigh for your exceptional service!!

The sweet boy James was a trooper. All by himself and the place had a line out the door. He was patient and kind and kept a great smile up.

A go-to every time I’m down in St. Augustine. I get a Homemade cotton candy Ice cream with plenty of mix ins as I want. UNLIMITED FREE MIX INS!?!

Kid-friendliness: Definitely Kid-friendly, watched a kid devour the cotton candy shake in seconds.

An absolute treat to come every year for vacation, made all the better by the great service by James, despite a packed line and being by himself he did his best and it was fantastic, we were all very happy.

This was the worst icecream place I’ve been to in St. Augustine. We got there around 9 pm and the line was incredibly long. There were three teenagers working and still they couldn’t manage to get people rung up or taken care of in a timely manner. They had 0 sense of urgency or efficiency. We waited for 24 minutes before having our order taken only to be told they were out of both flavors we wanted. The icecream that I got was melty and when we asked about it they said it was because it was the bottom of the container. Overpriced and underwhelming, Kilwins is much better.

Went at night at the line was barely moving. Place is being run by a bunch of young teenagers who don’t know manners. The blonde worker with braces was absolutely rude. She had a rude tone to many of the customers, and also laughed at us when we asked question about one of the flavors. Really unprofessional and over priced, don’t recommend.
