We had a great experience at Mayday midtown! We had a bunch of ladies together for a birthday celebration, and Brooklyn was super accommodating, and all of the ice cream was delicious!

We just discovered Mayday Ice cream!! The selection of flavors is interesting, creative and yummy! Delilah was a delight and put up with us as we sample so many unique flavors. We will be back!

Caitlyn was great. she was so friendly, welcoming, seemed happy to be there. very knowledgeable on the ice creams. So good she made me want to eat ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Went today….Very disappointing. I ordered a single scoop, with hot fudge and whipped cream. Not a sundae as I don’t need the other toppings. The scoop was about 1/4 of the size of a regular scoop somewhere else. She put the hot fudge (it was barely a drizzle ) on top of the whipped cream. The whipped cream was totally melted and the worst part was that it was over 9.00. I have no problem paying for toppings if I can actually see them. The hot fudge wasn’t even a tablespoon full. I’m far from cheap, but there are WAY better ice cream places around this place! Seriously has gone down. I’ll take the extra drive to Kilwins or Cone Heads!

Incredible ice cream! Probably the best I’ve ever had in Florida. The quality and richness is so good. I’m so tired of overrated places that have cheap-tasting ice cream. This place is the BEST!

Mayday has gone downhill and by that, I mostly mean they’ve gotten really cheap. When we moved to the area it was the place to go and we loved it but have seen more and more disappointing changes (at all locations) over the last year. Anywhere you go these days, you expect to pay $5-6 for a small scoop and that’s alright if it’s good and your portion is decent. Mayday’s prices are as high as anyone’s but their portions are extremely skimpy. I got a split scoop single today and it was the smallest little scoops of two flavors. While I’m happy you brought back splitting scoops after you wouldn’t allow that for a single, this is just not a reasonable portion for the price I’m paying. Earlier this year they started charging for sugar cones. Not waffle cones, which will cost you an added $1.50 (which is honestly normal) but sugar cones. I can honestly say this is the only place I’ve ever been that has charged me for a sugar cone. A final frustration, I have to ask for the guaranteed cookie and sprinkles on my last several visits. Not sure if this is a service problem or just another silly money saving attempt but it has really taken away from the experiences that made me a Mayday fan! Your ice cream is good but between the skimping portions, high prices and buckle and diming things no other places are, unfortunately I am going to have to take my business elsewhere.

Delaney Riley is the best server we have encountered at Mayday . She is patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. She seems to enjoy her job and thus makes Mayday look even better.
