This is my first time in Saint Augustine, and this restaurant was very nice and friendly. The food was delicious, and portions were served well. The guacamole was delightful! And their Aguas Frescas was perfect for this weather. I highly recommend this place! The location has an amazing view!

It's really the FIRST TIME I've enjoyed Mexican food so much. Excellent place, very warm and careful attention. At first I thought the food wouldn't be good because a beautiful American woman serves it but I was wrong, her husband is a mechanic and he is the chef and the most delicious cook. I totally recommend the place to those who have the most demanding taste. I wish you blessings and success in your restaurant. ????

Hard to even put into words how great the food is here, but I will do my best. For starters the vibe is great. Spanish music playing in the background with a bohemian meets Latin decor, is simply beautiful. They make their own juices that are great, I had a hibiscus drink and my husband had the guava juice. He got two carne asada tacos and an al pastor taco with rice and beans. The Al pastor was by far the best I have ever had. I got the taco salad with shredded chicken and a side of refried beans. The beans were some of the best I have ever had. They also homemade two different hot sauces that are excellent. The server was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu and the owner was super nice and welcoming as well. I highly recommend this spot when in St Augustine.

We had breakfast as a family at Mayita and the experience was spectacular, you have to try the natural orange juice and the avocado toast, my favorite, but in general everything was delicious, I recommend it 100% and Landen's attention was super pleasant, as well as I liked the one about the girl and the cook who cooked my eggs.

So this place had amazing reviews and I agree, the food is really good. What was odd is the place was dead on a Saturday night. I'm not sure if that's because it's more popular for brunch since they offer it all day, or if we just hit it on a weird Saturday. We walked right in, got a table and were served awesome food. I'm not complaining, that was amazing, it just doesn't make sense since clearly this spot is not a secret, it has a ton of five star reviews and it was a fairly busy night down town.
Hopefully they stay in business and they are slamming for brunch and lunch. The food is really great and it's worth stopping by. I'll definitely be back.
