Very small place. Friendly and accommodating service. My wife said the tortilla soup was as good as she's ever had and definitely not overhyped in other reviews. The tamales are another story: They are claimed to be homemade and I don't doubt it. I ordered pork and the pig must have walked through the masa on stilts. See the pic. I've got shoestrings thicker than the meat. If masa is your thing you'll love them cause that's about all there is.

We stumbled upon Mi Carnal recently and we are sold. We are good for a minimum of one visit a week. I've enjoyed the burritos, the enchiladas and tacos. All very tasty. I really like the homemade sauces that can really lift things up a notch. Nice diverse menu in this family-owned restaurant. Service is very good and personable from Carlos, the owner, who oversees things. They really care!

We had 4 pupusas, a al pastor burrito, modelo and two horchatas, and platanos con crema
Lets start with platanos con crema 🤤🤤🤤 the crema was fire 🔥 and delicious.
Got an amazing fix for platanos like how my mama made them.
Then horchata was so good we took some home 😆 and my son was loving it.
The pupusas, my son doesn't eat this type of food but he ate it up with the salsa. The salsa and curtido was so so good and delicious I ate literally 2.5 lol
The burrito was good and my husband loved the meat was delicious.
Food was really good and the man was working (the owner?) was very nice. I got the mixed papusas, mom got chille rellenos, and my sister got the burritos. All were a good size portion!

I came here specifically for the pork carnita burrito, The flavor was very bland. However, my husband said it tasted ok. Every other Mexican restaurant.I have been to your served chips and salsa before your meal, not here! they charge you. There were 2 other tables, and the manager or the owner was eating as well. I have not tried everything on the menu, but I will not be back again to try anything else.
