Seriously good authentic food in a nice quiet, clean atmosphere. By far the best refried beans I have ever had, tasty chile relleno and fresh rice as a side. Not to mention, super good salsa verde! I really enjoyed my take out lunch and look forward to returning to explore more menu options.

Wow, talk about a completely hidden gem! This is a true mom and pop. Mom cooks. Pop takes the orders. The food is homemade and delicious!!!! Try the papusas, to die for!!

Me and my boyfriend ate here yesterday and it was so good I recommended we do it for lunch the next day at work. So we had a large order and I couldn’t ask for better service. They got everything correct and even labeled each box with our name ❤️ the portion sizes were large enough to eat off of twice ❤️ and the food was great ❤️ 10/10 recommend

What a delicious meal, pupusas, cakes and quesadillas, a delight, highly recommended.
Amazing service! amazing food! Amazing prices! 100 percent coming here more often I got 2 meals 2 drinks and an appetizer for under 25 bucks and the guy who owns this place is very kind and attentive. The food was very authentic and I left this place satisfied. I don’t feel moggy or over stuffed, my stomach doesn’t hurt from Mexican, very pleased with this place!

Amazing place in St. Augustine. A true gem. I got a burrito and it was incredible. My partner is a vegetarian and she loved the options there. By far the best cheap eats I've had in St. Augustine. I've tried all the taco places around and this one is superior. They clearly care a lot here and it shows.

Finally! Real tacos! Pupusas! Mi Carnal is an absolute treasure. I've been on the search for authentic tacos in St. Augustine and they've been hard to find until now. Don't be concerned by the name; Mi Carnal has great vegetarian options! Tacos, pupusas, burritos, bowls. Wonderful staff. This food brought me right back to Mexico. We'll be eating here often!Vegetarian options: Tacos- soy meat or rice, beans, pico and avocado. Burritos, bowls. Pupusas can be black bean, cheese or a combination of the two.Dietary restrictions: Excellent vegetarian options here and easy to avoid gluten.

Ther service here was very welcoming. The Chorizo tacos were amazing. I was amazed on how spicy and tender the meat was. If I'm ever in this area, I would definitely come back.Parking: There are parking spot right in front of the restaurant.
