Went there 'cuz we could hear the live music and needed a couple of drinks and food after the 2hr drive up from our house. Anyhoo, nice atmosphere cold wine and beers, friendly bartender. Little bit of issue for a restaurant though-- kitchen wasn't open. Meaning no food. COVID issues, we were told. They didn't mind if we brought food in from elsewhere, so we grabbed a pizza and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.
We stopped in here for the live music around 7pm and had a couple of drinks before our dinner reservations. They did have a food menu but we didn't try anything. It looked like typical bar food. The atmosphere was nice with lots of outdoor seating (picnic tables with umbrellas) and fun live music taking requests. They have 10 or so beers on tap and a few canned seltzer options. Nothing fancy but fun to stop in for a drink or two if you are looking for live music.
As we walked by, one of my favorite songs was playing so we went in. Zach the bartender said the band was setting up & was starting in a couple minutes. Everyone was so friendly! The band -- God's Duo -- was amazing. They played everything from Johnny Cash to Lynrd Skynrd. Zach made us feel right at home. I wish this place was in my hometown!
