It was a bad experience, and I can summarize it as follows: poor service, unclean and disorganized facilities, food that leaves much to be desired, and a chef who has no idea how Eggs Benedict are prepared. That’s all.

You should avoid. Worse than diner food. Smells like mildew. And the water tasted like it’s coming out of a garden hose. Nice Christmas decor and the servers were nice!

We visited Nero Restaurant in St. Augustine today for breakfast, and I ordered the Italian omelette—without a doubt, one of the best omelettes I have ever had.
My family and I truly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Although we experienced a minor inconvenience, the staff handled it professionally and promptly, even offering a 10% discount. Their customer service made a great impression.
We will definitely be returning.

Cute place. Coffee is horrible. How they can charge $4 for a cup of mud is crazy. The Hemingway Eggs Benedict was great and the Hollandaise sauce was awesome !! Way better than the Fancy Casa Monica resort and spa Eggs Benedict !

My family went for Thanksgiving feast yesterday!
Our waiter Edward was amazing and entertaining!
The food was a traditional Thanksgiving spread of Ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes and greens. So Yummy!
We would recommend to everyone!

Had a lovely breakfast with our kiddo and nana on thanksgiving morning here. The team was extremely kind and the food was great. Would recommend to any families or folks looking to enjoy a leisurely breakfast with good food, great coffee (strong!) and a view of the bridge (which for littles is so exciting because it is a drawbridge and goes up and down).
Also, you can’t beat their Christmas decorations!!

Visited the restaurant for breakfast for myself and my daughter. Lovely location. Food was quite good. Their breakfast potatoes were very good. Service was not fantastic and they charges me $8 for milk for my coffee, which I found highly distasteful. About 20% of my bill was so that I could have milk in my coffee. What?!

It’s a real shame that a café with such a stunning waterfront view doesn't meet expectations in terms of food and service quality.
My brunch included pancakes, muffins, and coffee. The food itself was very mediocre. The pancakes were unnecessarily large, and the flavor was bland. The coffee was not the best quality, and I was surprised by the lack of basic milk-based drinks on the menu, like a latte or cappuccino. Furthermore, the presentation was poor: the coffee was served with disposable stirring sticks instead of spoons, and the maple syrup came in cheap plastic packaging.
The biggest issue was the cleanliness of the cafe itself: the interior was unfortunately quite dirty, with visible trash on the tables and worn-out, scuffed furniture. The service was polite but unremarkable.
I would only recommend this place for a quick visit for the view, but not for a proper meal.

It’s got a beautiful view of the bay, but it’s a scam business with three different restaurants operating at the same location. I ordered a “” large glass of grapefruit juice and a biscuit, both of which were horrible.

The view was great as we ate outside. We both ordered a standard breakfast of eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. It was all cooked correctly and server was attentive.
