We’re guests at the Inn so our breakfast was complimentary and it was so good! We had such a great experience, our server Peter was very attentive and so kind.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! We planned to get brunch today. We were sat by a lady that didn’t know how to smile(stone face).. looked miserable! When we sat at a sticky table, a larger party sat in the same room and were served immediately. We were not acknowledged at all. We decided if we wanted to stay or not… we decided to leave. VERY UNFRIENDLY STAFF! STAY CLEAR! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We enjoyed brunch. It.was extremely busy due to it being a Saturday during the holidays, so we had a wait to be seated. However, the meal did not disappoint. We had a great meal and friendly, attentive service and would definitely return.

We went to Nero’s to be there when it opened and to have breakfast looking out at the bay, we had a party of 7 and they split us up to two tables, which is not an issue. What was a problem, was the table was in the corner, facing away from the bay which defeated part of the allure. We asked to be relocate and were refused. Getting past that, the wait staff was great and the food very good.

Stopped by for breakfast while passing through. Our server, Edward, was very polite and professional and helpful with all the kids’ needs. My Caprese Benedict was delicious and all the fruit, eggs, toast, and bacon was great for the family. Nice relaxing spot along the waterfront.

Don't bother. There are plenty of restaurants in St. Augustine that have awesome food and decent cocktails. The food here is frozen fried and cocktails are premade. Spend your money a few blocks off the waterfront.

Waited at the front for someone to seat us. After someone finally came out, we sat at our table for ten minutes and no one ever came over. Ended up just getting up and leaving.

The service was awful. It took incredibly long to order. We did not get water until after we received our food and then the drinks we ordered didn’t come until half way through our food. I had to ask the bus boy for the waters and we never received napkins, salt, or pepper. We almost never got the check. The table beside of us had a drink delivered with lipstick around the edge of the martini glass. The other table had to also send stuff back. Save your money and don’t come here.

Great location with seating viewing the water. Edward was our server twice. His mannerisms were delightful, attentive service, friendly, funny and efficient. The food was yummy. The meal was included in the hotel price.

A 5 star view….. That’s all unfortunately. We my wife and I live in St. Augustine and are always on the lookout for a great local spot for our weekly morning date. We arrived around 9am and were able to get a table without waiting. The gentleman who sat us was pleasant and did a good job. He doubled as our server. We asked him for menu recommendations and ordered based off his advice. Let’s talk about the food. Simply put it was awful. Here’s why
My wife ordered “the standard “ scrambled eggs with wheat toast, bacon and home fries. The only item that was prepared correctly was the toast. The scrambled eggs were laughable, literally brown from being on the griddle, like the cook was doing something else besides cooking the food and forgot about them. Honestly among the worst I have seen. Bacon was between crunchy and soft like the consistency of thin cardboard and the home fries were absolutely saturated with grease. My wife picked at it but only ate the toast.
I ordered the hash with over medium eggs per the recommendation of our server. Same greasy nasty potatoes and finger nail size pieces of fatty grisly corned beef. It’s served in a bowl (strange choice) that made the portion size seem small. The grease from the meat and potatoes pooled up on the bottom of the bowl making a 3rd of the breakfast inedible. The over medium eggs I ordered were burnt to a crisp. No runny yolk, and the hollandaise sauce came in the side in a plastic cup…. YUCK.
Our server saw that we hardly touched our food, didn’t ask if things were ok, just took the plates and scraped them into the bus tub so the kitchen didn’t have to be held accountable for serving heinous food. No refills on coffee , water, didn’t come to check on us once. Not a care in the world.
As a side note we walked by the restaurant again on our way to our car. Almost an hour later our trash was still sitting there on our table.
This place was almost empty, what excuse could there possibly be for any of this to have happened? What a mess! There are lots of lovely spots to eat in St. Augustine find a different one.
