This is the closest pizza place to the Palencia neighborhood so they have a solid customer base to begin with. Maybe this is the reason why they're so incredibly rude and nasty to their customers, because of their guaranteed market. We ordered a Greek salad and a half cheese half onion pizza. The food was great, but not enough to be subject to such terrible customer service by the older gentleman at the register. We will gladly drive the extra 18 minutes it takes to get downtown to Pizza Time. New York Pizza Company needs to learn a little bit about some southern hospitality.

It’s really great food I will say, and the one guy that works there with the brown beard is amazing, but it’s such a shame that the owner is a complete grouch. He is beyond rude for no reason and has zero people skills. I have hung up from ordering multiple times and it’s sad that I don’t want to give them my money sometimes strictly because of him.

One of the ‘tells’ for good NY Pizza is, you can’t stop eating it. I meant to save two small slices for my wife, who had a trade event. I failed. The pizza is so good. Staff friendly but busy, as they move a lot of pies. Seating for 10 groups of people watch the nonstop locals pick up take out. Would easily recommend this place, vibe is good too. This Hidden Gem is in the same building as the Starbucks , just down a few doors…

Good food but owner answers the phone and has a horrible bedside manner. If you don’t answer the pizza order just so- he makes a snide comment about having to start the order over or hounding you about what size pizza a large is. Most people don’t order pizza with inches. Most order in size. Please know you have loyal customers that would appreciate a happier tone. I don’t have to give you my hard earned money. But I do because the food is good and the delivery driver is always nice. Think of your customers please!!

We've tried several nearby pizza restaurants in the area. NY pizza has been our fav so far. Good crust, not limp or soggy. Good flavor. Quick delivery!

So good! It actually is NY pizza. They also have really great salads and pasta options.

Our server Cheyenne made the experience a pleasure. The setting itself is nothing charming, but she came over with a bright smile and good energy to take the drink order and discuss the limited menu on certain less-busy weekdays. We were there just to split a pizza, and the 14" deluxe did the trick. The crust is a thinner/more solid foundation than some of the soft-crust pizzas that can get soggy. Overall, the experience was positive, the pizza was good, and pricing was reasonable...we even got a $2 discount for coming there on a Wednesday :-)

Pizza is good. The older man answering the phone/at the register is miserable and rude.

My niece and I had the Chicken Parm entree lunch special and we both agree it was delicious. The garlic knots were perfect. This is coming from a NYer. I wish in hindsight that I could have remembered to take a pic. Oops! Next time.

My wife called in our order Friday 7/15/22 for me to pick up as I was coming home to St Augustine, FL from Shands Hospital Jacksonville. We ordered two large pizza's. 1) Meat Lovers with banana peppers and pineapple. 2) Cheese Pizza with extra sauce and mushrooms. Cost... $44.00. I almost choked when my wife told me the price. When she called back to cancel the order they lowered the price to $38.00 (Military Discount). Heard and read a lot of good reviews so decided to pay the expensive price. Got home, started eating it and the meat lovers pizza had so much grissel and tiny bone fragments I couldn't eat two pieces. My wife's pizza with extra sauce and mushrooms looked as if someone had sprayed different colors of paint on some dough and ran it through the oven. Since I was in an intensive outpatient program all week this week and the previous two weeks before that I was unable to make a complaint. But, just want to make sure folks are aware of our experience since we were looking forward to some supposedly excellent pizza. I don't have that kind of money to pay for an experience as bad as this. Totally burned, bummed and disgusted.

Simply amazing!! The garlic knots are to die for and some of the best marinara we've had!! Calzone is great. Always hot and fresh every time! Service is awesome also.

Hello NY Pizza order online,6-24 at 5:45 said it will be ready at 6:45. The order was on my wife’s name. She waited more than 10 minutes no problem the cashier up front all dressed in black not even a simple Hello, welcome, hi nothing… asked her after 14 minutes where was my order and she said I don’t know… I said could you ask ? No response from her … she didn’t even had a smile she was like a wall. We just moved to the area and definitely it wasn’t a good experience. There was a girl with a yellow/mustard t-shirt and I asked her about my order and she looked annoyed meanwhile there were 7 other customers waiting for their order. She didn’t even knew the order … she asked the cashier, and the only reason was because she couldn’t find the order on that wood table with all the orders… the girl in black accidentally threw my ticket with the order in the trash …seemed like nobody knew what was going on… Paid $52 + tip for a large pizza with sausage n onions/ 4 garlic rolls / and 2 meatballs smaller than golf balls and 2 chocolate cakes. Food was good but extremely bad service.it’s not only about good food it’s also about service

Just spent $91 for two large pizzas, 16 wings and 4 garlic knots. When I called to make the order they stated they couldn’t split the flavors on the wings unless I paid for two orders of 8 wings (this would cost an extra $3). They quoted me $71 over the phone and stated they delivered to my area. When the pizza arrived, they were cold. There was a surcharge of $18 with no explanation on the bill. After tipping the driver $5 I still don’t understand how they arrived at the final bill price and the driver couldn’t explain it. We’ve always loved their pizza but I’ve got to be honest, $91 is ridiculous. We didn’t even get that much for it.
