My husband & i have visited the no name bar every time we have gone to St Augustine florida. But our experience 08/26/25 was not very good. We have some food & several drinks. When we ordered we gave them our credit card to hold an open tab & when we where ready to leave we paid the bartender in cash & asked for charges not to go on our card. Well we paid in cash & they still charged our card. I have called for several days to correct the issue & they answer the phone & hang up. I also searched for other ways to contact them & can't find anything but the telephone number. So i now will not recommended to anyone to go there. I will also be calling our bank & telling them about the fraudulent charge by the no name bar.

Watched someone get banned from the bar for basically being American . I left right after. She was nice to a Muslim guy, gave him a cigarette, didn’t agree with him and they kicked her out. This is still America people. God bless, never going back.

Great little dive bar with great prices! This spot usually has live music on the weekends, and is always a good time with a great bar layout. It is really close to downtown St. Augustine and pricing tagged in this review is based on having a few rounds of drinks! Love this place!!

The three on food is because the ranch was ehhhh at best. BUT Mikaela was the bright spot on a rainy day. Her chef skill are a 10/10. Her banter was hilarious and I’d come back with the boys to hang with her again

No Name is one of my favorite places to come in St. Augustine. They have great drinks and a great view! They're just across from Castillo de San Marcos, and very close to every other attraction.

Denied re-entry at No Name.
I’ve been coming to this bar for 8 years. I’ve never caused a problem, never been turned away — until now.
I was already inside. The bouncer checked my ID, everything was fine. My fiancé was still inside waiting for me. I stepped out for a minute and when I tried to come back in, the same bouncer stopped me and said: “You can’t come in, you’re swaying.”
I wasn’t loud. I wasn’t stumbling. I wasn’t intoxicated. Nothing had changed. Except his decision.
There was no conversation. No explanation. Just a public statement that left me standing outside, separated from my fiancé, and completely humiliated.
I didn’t get a photo of him, but I found another Yelp review that includes a photo and mentions the same bouncer for nearly identical behavior. So it’s clearly not an isolated incident.
I understand bars need to manage risk. But if your staff can’t distinguish between real issues and snap judgments especially for loyal customers who were already inside, then you’re not protecting anyone. You’re just alienating the people who used to support you.
Extremely disappointing.
This was Saturday (6/14) around midnight.

I personally don’t normally care to leave reviews, but this experience was too off-putting not to share. We were filming some content — nothing disruptive, just casual footage — and the owner came over, not to politely ask questions or set boundaries, but to immediately get aggressive and confrontational. And told us to stop filming so we did. But after a short 10 minutes he kicked us out for filming even thought we weren’t. No courtesy, no professionalism, just straight attitude.
There’s a way to handle things like an adult, and unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. Instead of a calm conversation, we were met with hostility for no valid reason. We left feeling disrespected and honestly shocked at how poorly we were treated.
Plenty of other businesses would have handled the situation with a lot more class. Would not recommend supporting a place where the staff (especially ownership) acts like this.
Obviously you don’t care and I will make sure the world knows how unprofessional you are for being rude and not polite. Do better not for me but for those who support ur business we weren’t being drunk and belligerent we were recording something for our social media and you could’ve just been like hey guys can you stop recording we don’t want that here and we would’ve stopped instead you caught a attitude and addressed things unprofessionally.
