Perfect outdoor setting on a Sunday afternoon. Fans and a vine-covered pergola added to the breeze to keep the hot weather from distracting from the delicious food. I enjoyed the grilled salmon catch of the day and chips and it was perfectly delicious. Would return every day if I could.

First time for brunch. Four out of four of us enjoyed our meal and sharing a carafe of mimosas!

Beautiful location, (with parking!!, which is unheard of in the old city portion of St Auggie. Their patio is beautiful, although they need to use industrial level fans during the hot humid summer to make it more comfortable. Also, most tables only have been seating with no cushions so fairly uncomfortable.
The staff is almost always engaging, friendly, and they provide good service.
The food is where this place needs serious improvement … in multiple areas! Presentation… coconut shrimp were over fried to dark brown and came seated to completely wilted lettuce … the lettuce looked like spinach after its sautéed. The same was true for the calamari… WAY over cooked, dark brown crust, and rubbery from being over cooked… calamari takes 1.5 mins to cook… maybe 2 depending on oil temp. And for goodness sake, swap out your oil!! (I am a former sous chef in a fine dining Italian restaurant)! And it’s severed with what appeared to be friend green onions… what? Why?
Had the Crabby Cod. I will say the fish was cooked properly… but it was smothered in a thick, gelatinous sauce that had 2.5 times too much salt.
The entire menu needs a serious upgrade, revamp, and for goodness sake, get a modern chef in who truly understands the delicate nature of sauces and seasonings. Then get a real expeditor who fully understands presentation and that people eat with their eyes first!
This is our second time here… same time approximately last year. NOTHING has changed.
This place has SO much potential to be so much more than just another overpriced tourist trap typical of most restaurants in St Augustine Old Town.
Its current only redeeming qualities are its location, patio, and their host and wait staff.
Otherwise, if you are looking for a quality meal that even attempts to match the price point, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere… plenty of better places including several just across the bridge of lions.

Got the Blackened Swordfish daily special. It was topped with crab meat and was worth every penny. The live music, courtesy of a man and woman duo, was wonderful. Highly recommend this spot to lovers and families alike

As locals of St. Augustine and career hospitality professionals, being treated like we’ll never be back is maddening. We contribute to this local economy weekly, and yet the level of service we continue to receive is unacceptable.
Tonight was the final straw. I ordered a drink while my husband was still reading the menu, and instead of ringing it in immediately, the server waited 10 full minutes until we both ordered. The restaurant was empty — there was no excuse. No recommendations, no upselling, no sense of hospitality. Meanwhile, we sat next to a dirty table that remained uncleared throughout our entire meal. No one touched it. That’s how little care was shown.
The overall lack of effort is both disrespectful and disheartening. Our industry used to be about hospitality and service. Instead, we got an order taker who never once checked on our food, didn’t ask if we needed anything when it was dropped, and initially brought a dirty split plate that took several minutes to replace — by which point I was nearly done eating.
For a restaurant that’s supposedly a “community staple,” how is this the standard? Two drinks and a split burger cost $50 before tip — and for what? Mediocre, thoughtless service?
And just to be clear: I paid the bill, didn’t ask for any freebies, and still tipped 18% to protect the bar and kitchen tipout. But I want better. I expect better. We all should
