Excellent food, friendly staff, great service, and beautiful atmosphere. Would definitely return when visiting the area again.
Good food reasonable price. Could have had a little more selection. When asked what the coffee of the day (which is on the menu) was told, just the specialty coffees. Same with the quiche of the day. Girl at the register had no idea. Overall, it was good and will probably be back.

Decided to choose this place for Breakfast. Located in a front Harbor Strip, close to Kingfish Grill, the 'Odd Bird Cafe' is an excellent choice for Food, Coffee, desserts, & lunch.
We came in early morning on a Saturday, so barely many people were up and about at this time; except for the local boat owners and weekenders about to depart on their boats/yachts. Many people did grab to go which service provided fairly responsible return time once ordered. We sat down at the place to enjoy the breakfast options before we headed back to JAX.
The place is clean, the atmosphere was very pleasing and fitting for itself. Give a very unique downtown St. Augustine vibe that brings it that small store service feel & quality. The food and coffee options definitely follow inline too. The wife got the "Odd Bird Breakfast" (choice meat sliced Turkey). The breakfast was well prepared & the sliced turkey looked pretty damn good too. She was pleased naturally. I went with the Cuban Breakfast Sandwich called "Breakfast Cuban" and that sandwich was unbelievably good. Like, read the other reviews that people have left... It's a wonderful breakfast choice & I highly recommend it. I forgot picks of the orders that we did get so that one is on me.
Other offerings that the place had are different desserts, pastries, empanadas, and Cuban munchies that look handmade & locally priced well.
Plates and silverware (aka plastic fork, knife, spoon packet + plate) might possibly, one could say, was the only con/negative part of it all. I know some prefer stronger table utensils & plates, but it honestly didn't affect me one bit. Almost preferred it and maybe it's just a morning thing; I don't know but didn't care to ask. Eat'ja food.
Wait staff....y'all were nice and chill. Thanks for the service.
Overall, if you have never tried this place I recommend you do. If you pass this place on or from work; stop in for a bite or grab something to go. Excellent place.
Wheelchair accessibility: Nothing stopping anyone from gaining access to the establishment.

The grits bowl was light and delicious. Bacon and scallions were made to look like a flower…loved the presentation. Iced Chai was not too sweet and had a nice Chai flavoring. Service was welcoming and friendly.

Amazing place for Cuban breakfast and lunch! Arepa with pork is amazing, but the pork cachapa is really an absolute must-have. For breakfast, I highly recommend the pork boulangerie (a breakfast croissant made with pork).
The sweet plantains are great as a side, and we really like their peanut butter latte and their caramel latte. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything at Odd Birds!

This place is an absolute gem!! Incredible food, service and atmosphere. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had caramel and hazelnut coffees, the Breakfast Cuban, and the Classic French Toast. All of which was 10/10!! A MUST TRY, for sure!
