I haven't lived near a Panera Bread in quite a few years. Today after coming to St. Augustine for a medical test I was excited to visit. I was willing to overlook the lack of croutons for my soup and salad but the soup has to go back to make it warm enough to eat (it sat on the counter for a long time) I was also shocked at how small the bread bowls are now. My poor husband had to eat most of the bowl to not feel like he hadn't eaten. way overpriced for what you get. Salad was lacking dressing.
Too many restaurants in St. Augustine to revisit this Panera or any other for that matter. Oh by the way is it acceptable for employees to take food back across the counter to reheat after the customer tried it? Place had dirty tables, trash on the window sill and floor too. A girl came out moved chairs but never cleaned anything

Very slow service. My drive in order was not noted, waited in line for 15 minutes. Went inside to check to be told they have no order!! Waited another 15 minutes after ordering inside.

Wanted to try the green goddess avocado toast for the first time. It was supposed to come with tomatoes, feta cheese, and all the wonderful stuff for avocado toast. Check out the picture below to see what pathetic thing I got when I opened up the box at home. No tomatoes, no feta cheese. Just arugula, way too much dressing, & barely an hint of avocado. Absolutely pathetic! They should be embarrassed to have served this!

I really enjoy Panera. It’s just not near my house. Today we had a bread bowl with mac & cheese and a salad. We both enjoyed every bite. I do wonder if they can heat the bread, it was cold, very cold and would not melt the butter.

Good afternoon 12/1/2025 3pm I have frequently patronized this Panera. Not sure what’s happened within upper management but the portions were significantly smaller. For a pick 2. (Sandwich & soup) the chocolate chip cookie even was way smaller. Very poor quality but ofc price was more. Cha Ching 💸💸

whoevers running corporate panera bread ran the company into the ground.. i used to eat here everyday but since they took away their sandwhich breads and keep changing things to be more expensive while getting less quality and more food. shame people dont know how to run a business. Its 100 percent the CFO and CEOs fault

I love the Panera location. They were super sweet and the guy at the front register was super attentive and polite, and patient with all of the customers that came in. Going to come here regularly to study now. Thank you!!

Got an order to go, no avocado on sandwich no discount for not having all ingredients listed. Heck, Publex is right thete nest them, go buy some avocados when you run out. Inefficient management. Ordered a Cowboy cookie. They said it was the last one, but didn't include it in the sack and charged us for it. Last time except to get the refund for the cookie. Poor, poor service.
