We live down the street and have been going to Playa since we moved here in late 2020. This is, by far, our favorite Mexican place in the area. We adore the entire family who owns the establishment. This is authentic Mexican food made with love! The owners are so warm and inviting, and we love Javier’s beautiful live music every night!

A little hidden gem. Pretty decent prices for the amount of food you get. I went after 3pm and was the only person there! Their outside area is nice but the cicadas might be a bit deafening. I’m not much of a drinker but they offer beers and margs. The decorations are bright and colorful with fresh flowers on all tables! A nice place for a quick, cheap and amazing Mexican! Will definitely be back

Loved this place! The chips and guacamole were fresh and tasty, the tilapia was perfectly cooked, and the ceviche had a delightful citrus kick. The chicken and shrimp tacos were juicy and flavorful, and the flan was the perfect sweet ending. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we loved the live music and cozy outdoor seating. Exceptional service and atmosphere made it a memorable visit. Highly recommended!

The chicken and steak was good, but the group beef was very bland. Would not recommend the ground beef.
Good eats, checked it out after I visited 10 years prior and the food is still great and they can still play great guitar while you eat!!

Literally the best restaurant in Saint Augustine Beach. I take my whole family here and it's the best time! The service is so great and the family who owns it are the nicest people in town! I recommend the super hot and tasty chips, a margarita, chimichangas and the Fried ice cream to finish the meal!
