First time to Poppys, the food was fresh and good-sized portions, we had the sausage and peppers, shrimp scampi and a blooming bread as an appetizer. There is nothing negative to say. Service was fast and will definitely return.

My family has eaten here (and their PVB location) dozens of times over the last 6 years. Food and service has always been exceptional. I have truly enjoyed their eggplant dishes. Early bird specials are a great deal, however prices have started to rise dramatically over the past few years, and portion sizes seem to be diminishing - as with many restaurants.

I prefer some foot to go. I was in the shopping center for an appt. The hostess was very nice. She’s was great with my order. The woman who I think was a manager, acted like one with long dark hair, and heavy accent was rude! I asked for just a couple paper napkins and she said we don’t give them out anymore. There were black paper napkins on the bar. She wasn’t pleasant when she handed be a couple of them. I asked the gentleman behind the bar 3 times for napkins before asking her. The just ignored me. The Ponte Vedra Beach Poppy’s has always treated me and my family great. Keep this attitude up and you won’t be open long. PV Beach food is much better too. Also when a person ask to go light on the garlic on the bread, listen. PVB Poppy’s listens. How can your food taste different (worse) than the other restaurant? We’ve at at the restaurant with friends also in St. John’s. 2 or 3 stars.
