One of our favorite restaurants in the area. The food has been fantastic each time. Steak was prepared perfectly and incredibly delicious. Scallops were so darn good!

Everything last nights dinner was weird and quite frankly poor. The hostess was rude , food was sub standardly poor. I’ve been before and enjoyed the meal. Not this time. Oh well

Party of 8 for dinner last night. Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious. Picasso made sure everything was just right before seating us. Our server, Emmet, was friendly and attentive. We had the bread service, the Brie and the roasted olives as apps and every plate was wiped clean. Pictured is my dinner, Gorgonzola crusted bone in pork chop with mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. It was so good. Others in our party had the chicken Parm, braised short ribs, ginger soy tofu, paella, salmon and the scallops. They were all winners!
Reservations suggested and totally worth it!

Second time eating at The Purple Olive. We took advantage of the prix fixed menu today and the food was outstanding. We started with the romaine salad which was crisp and fresh. We ordered short ribs and salmon for our entrees both were delicious and the desserts were amazing! We got the key lime pie, chocolate ganache cake, and crème brûlée. You can’t go wrong with any menu item. Our server was Emmitt, he greeted us with a smile, knew the menu inside out and was very responsive to all of our needs. I let him choose our desserts and his recommendations were spot on. The Purple Olive is our new fav in St. A!!

We hired Purple Olive to cater our 185 person wedding in St. Augustine. Peter was very personable and professional to work with. He went above and beyond to cater to all of the different food needs and the different family cultures. The food was incredible and felt more like a home cooked meal than the typical catered food. Highly recommend!!

Shrimp bisque had 1 shrimp in it and the pasta & shrimp was not edible and was sent back. 1st & last for me.

I don't know why it took me so long to let my fiance drag knew this place, but I should have come here way sooner. I was blown away and Emmett guided us through the menu and made our evening spectacular

Arrived at 5pm on Friday without a reservation. They were able to seat us and Dana was our server. We had the bread board and the olive appetizer. Both were great. We enjoyed the pris fix menu shrimp bisque, house salad, mustard salmon, braised short rib, creme boulet and key lime pie. All prepared perfectly and delicious. Nice portions. Excellent service. Fairly busy place.

After hearing so many positive reviews, was glad to finally try it first-hand. From the hostess to the servers, everyone there was very friendly and gave us great service. We enjoyed the Shrimp Bisque soup, Salmon and Chicken Parm. Looking forward to going back again!

Some of the best food in the area BY FAR! On vacation visiting from Charleston, South Carolina and could not stop talking about how we would drive the 5 hours to get dinner here! Our server Cheryl was spot on with the recommendations as well as with her service! 10/10 recommend and we WILL be back!

Spent the weekend in St Augustine area with some family and she likes this place so we went for dinner, It was more of a higher end nice for a date night or first date kind of place. Great service. Nice portions nice looking place in a strip mall. Next our to a pizza place and a Hurricanes grill, We went with the Ahi Tuna dinner with was tasty and fresh
Also went with the Paella seafood with chicken and sausage. Unfortunately, they were out of clams, so none in the meal, only muscles and shrimp. chicken and fish. and Chopped up sausage. Could not tell what kind.
There was not much flavor in the pallela, but the Ahi Tuna was great! We started with a shrimp bisque, just ok needed more shrimp but tasty and a nice salad.

Dana was a great server and food is great. Chocolate dessert was great.

Had a fabulous lunch here yesterday with friends. The food was outstanding: I had one of the best pasta bolognese I've ever eaten! And the key lime pie was perfect. Love the small plate option. We were served by a very knowledgeable woman who was funny too. Too bad I live in West Palm Beach. But I'll return!

Absolutely love Purple Olive. The food is always amazing and they have lots of gluten free options! I love the braised short rib and the dijon salmon. Both are incredible. We also love that they have gluten free desserts! My favorite restaurant in St. Augustine!
