It was a fun night walking around looking at the Nights of Lights. We had made reservations before our trip at River & Fort after getting high recommendations from another Yelp friend. It was packed when we arrived but we were seated within 20 minutes after a warm welcome from the hostess and taken upstairs to the second floor. Everyone was having fun upstairs also. Music was playing fairly loud and the crowd was loud but it was tolerable. It was a few days before Christmas...
Great place ! The food was fantastic , the service was friendly and atmosphere was wonderful . I cannot say anything negative . I would highly recommend the beer salad as an appetizer.
We had a reservation at another restaurant that was unexpectedly canceled last minute. It worked in our favor as we had a wonderful (and delicious) time. The deviled egg app was yummy, the short ribs flavorful, and the french fries were on point. However, the best part of the meal was Nathan, our server. We were a large group of women (often loud women), but he was friendly, efficient, funny and patient. 10 🌟 for Nathan.
