Called to order a little late, no problem. Food arrived hot and promptly. This pizza is really good. Had some of their wings too and I recommend them as well.

We love this restaurant; reminds us of our NJ pizzerias; informal, just good food and casual. We liked when the pizzas were being made so you could enjoy seeing them do them; but they changed things up and the meals are all made "in the back." Recently had a chicken parmagiano w/linguine and a Romano's small salad that had nice greens, and tasty and tender fried chicken cut into pieces. What stands out is that they do not use a lot of salt; very nice, no meal so far has been salty as that turns us off! You can add it you want with the salt shaker. This way we taste the meal; not salt that masks the food! And the chicken parmagiano was a nice portion, 2 nicely pounded cutlets and a nice light sauce on the linquine. Wait staff is extremely friendly. That have a larger take out than dine in from what we observe. We went on a Sunday earlier evening and it was nice; one other diners and ourselves. We like that; although we are used to crowds having lived most of our lives in Jersey!!! Even the pizza dough roll and butter was tasty, too! And, the tiramisu is EXCELLENT. Made the right way. We took that home for dessert.

I have NO idea why this establishment has rave reviews. The few people that have put honest low reviews are correct. That was the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. The crust was stale, burnt and tasted like cardboard and no I'm not being dramatic. The dough was undercooked yet the bottom was completely burnt. The toppings all tasted like they had been sitting out for days. We had a special deluxe type pizza and a Hawaiian style. Don't eat here, you'll waste your money.

Apparently there are new owners, pizza is usually very tasty....not with our last experience. The pizza was a takeout and when I got it home, the dough was not cooked. Placed it in the oven, made it worse. Called and they offered us a credit...fair enough. Called and said I wanted to use my credit, they told me it was already used!!! I said that's not possible....so, NO MORE Romanos on the Beach!!!

One of our repeat stops year after year during our family vacation. We ordered 2 pizzas last night, and unfortunately, one of their ovens stopped working. But the staff was super friendly and she even added a cannoli and brownie since I had to wait. But it wasn't a big deal to wait. Sometimes things happen and you just have to be patient. The pizza is sooo good, hot and fresh. When I got back to the family, it was still hot and delicious! The cannoli was so creamy and flaky! I'll have to order one every time I go now. Parking can be tricky at heavy times. There are 4 restaurants in a very small shopping center.

Just ordered a margarita pizza, have had it before. Picked it up and when we got it home it was basically cheese pizza with chopped basil on top. Disappointed as we stopped going to another place when their margarita pizza tanked. Back to the drawing board. However, the crust is always perfect, and I usually get the muscles as well which are always good

Friday Pizza Night brought us to the Beach to try Romano's. I noticed that this establishment received numerous good reviews on Google about its food, so we were hopeful that the pizza would be good. This restaurant was in a crowded strip area off A1A. Parking was a bit tight, but we were early so we found a place nearby.
The restaurant was small, and we had our choice of seats. The first thing we noticed was rather loud music playing near our seats . We did ask our waitress to lower the volume so we could hear ourselves talk, but the music played on. So much for a quiet dinner........
Vicki chose the antipasto salad. I ordered the Margarita Pizza. Vicki asked for bottled water or ginger ale, but was told the restaurant served neither. We settled for water.
My pizza came in a reasonable time. Unfortunately it seemed to be all mottled mozzarella cheese and very little red sauce. It turned out to be one of the worst pizzas that I've ever had. I realize that pizza in Florida is very different than pizza in the Northeast (where I'm from), but this pizza was bad. Vicki said her salad was okay, but nothing to write home about. The service here also was lacking, for the very young waitresses seemed to forget we were the only customers in the house......
I'm not sure why this restaurant got such glowing reviews for its food and service. We both agreed we would not return.

My husband and I were looking forward to a break from seafood on our vacation and decided that Romano’s sounded wonderful. I have Celiac and called before hand to see if they offer gluten free options and they did! I was so excited to have some gluten free spaghetti and my husband got pizza. My spaghetti was brought out to me and I asked again “this is gluten free right?!” And was told it was. I had two big bites and the waitress/hostess came running back and said she just went back and asked the chef again and he said, “NO, it was NOT gluten free.” I was panicked because as any Celiac is aware - it is horrible to be glutened!!! I immediately ran to the bathroom and started vomiting (trying to rid my body of the gluten so maybe I wouldn’t have a severe stomach and body reaction). The hostess/waitress was visibly upset and so apologetic. It wasn’t her fault but the fault of the chef that should have been aware of the gluten free request. I paid the price of being glutened about 45 minutes after ingesting it last night and still feeling the stomach pains this morning. I think it would have been worse had I not vomited what I had ingested. I imagine a hospital trip would have ensued if I had eaten the entire plate of food. Just be aware if you are Celiac. They did refuse payment on my husband’s pizza due to what happened.

The food was delicious! I had chicken fettuccine and the garlic knots were awesome! You’ll be glad you went here!

Super disappointed. I don't eat a lot of to-go food and certainly not pizza however I used to love this place. That is not the case anymore. Was told that it would be a 30 minute wait time however I know this location usually has it done before they say they will so I arrived 8 minutes early to find the pizza already in the warming area. I live 5 minutes from this location and when I got home my pizza was barely warm , had minimal amounts of cheese and was way overdone because most of the crumbs and the bottom was black. I don't think It'll go back anytime soon.

We ordered the scilian pizza. It was under cooked. The middle was raw. This was the first time we ordered from them. Maybe their other food is better

If I could give it lower than 0 stars I would. Absolutely terrible service, never showed up. Scam of a pizza joint. Please fire everyone in the establishment! Here is a photo of my EMPTY PORCH WITH NO PIZZA.
