We've tried this place twice and after the last meal, we won't be back. We were seated at 6:30 and it was just shy of 8:00 when our meal arrived. Our server seemed to be more interested in up-selling and pushing apps and drinks than how long it took to get our food. Our meals were fair, at best, and definitely not worth the wait. The concept looks great on paper, but just doesn't deliver.

All 3 of us enjoyed Salmon with gnocchi and loved it. Surprised by portion size, two fillets of super tender fish. Great sauce.
This is a neighborhood gem in a shopping center
Full house on a Thursday

Food was good, but just good. Price was not worth what we ordered.

The service is friendly. We attended on a Saturday night with a reservation. We were sat with after a minute or so and greeted by our waiter after 7-8 minutes (who said he was busy but would be right with us). It took almost half an hour to put our drink order in and double that to put in our food (which must be ordered as appetizers and entrees together). Afterwards it took over an hour to receive. We both ordered steak medium rare and received a medium well. The steak was extremely dry. Adjustments requested due to allergies were not taken into account and we had to wait longer for them to be corrected - and they only corrected the entree and not the side orders. Overall it was a poor experience to spend $300 on and we will not return.

Rustica was fantastic. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was great! And the chef came by to say hello and was charming. Wish it was closer to my home.

Best food I have had in years. A little noisy, open air seating. The food was tremendous from start to finish. Found a new favorite wine. The only thing that let it down a bit was the server. Quiet as a church mouse and not very knowledgeable about the offerings. Literally I have underwear that are older.

This was our first time here. It has been highly recommended by our friends. From the time we walked in the door, we were treated like royalty. We were seated by a window looking into the kitchen. So amazing to watch the artist at work. Very focused and precise in everything they were doing. One thing that stood out was how calm and quiet it was in the kitchen. It was a treat to see all the different dishes of amazing food get created and make their way out of the kitchen. Derek was awesome and very attentive. The food was absolutely the most delicious we’ve had. That paired up with the experience prompted my wife to say, “This is the best dining experience we’ve had.” That’s a pretty bold statement but I agree with her whole heartedly. Go experience it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

The Lamb and Octopus were a perfect 10. The chef owns the restaurant. His food is the most underrated in Jacksonville. Outstanding food and Charlotte was an excellent waitress! Highly recommend!

This restaurant serves fresh and delicious food. The bar tenders, especially Malory, are excellent. The yellow curry monk fish is particularly tasty.

Tried Rustica for the first time and we were not disappointed . The service was impeccable, we sat at the bar and I told the bartender i had gluten sensitivity and she said no problem and took it from there. The food and drink recommendations were fantastic. I wish I could try all the dishes. The chef is top notch and the fusion of the food takes the palate on a world tour. Since then have been back several times. Mahalo for the ono grinds brah.

It was a unique dining experience. We started with cocktails and baked escargot. Both were superb, although the alcohol in my husbands second drink was very light. We had Branzio (baked) with a superb sauce and Asian style vegetables and braised short ribs either mashed potatoes and Asian vegetables. Both entrees were delicious! I highly recommend the crème brûlée and I would return just for that! The acoustics are not great and the decor seems a bit basic for the prices you pay. Overall we enjoyed it.
