We had the Triggerfish which was one of the daily catch options- absolutely delicious! Mine was grilled and hubby's was blackened. I'm happy to say we also loved the fried okra and hushpuppies- they have received some bad reviews. Our server Gosha was very attentive and all of the staff super friendly. It is laid back and low key- a local's top choice. I highly recommend.
Good food, no frills dine in atmosphere, service was lacking.We dined here on a Sunday evening. We were greeted and seated promptly. The server brought out our drinks but it was nearly 20 minutes later before she made it back to us. I'm not sure why that was but there was no explanation. The place wasn't busy, in fact I think there was only one other couple inside. We were overall happy with the crab cakes platter and my grilled shrimp bowl was great but the wait...
Our server, Grace was exceptional. She was a breath of sunshine to start our day. We headed out for a day trip to Crescent Beach for some sun and stopped in for lunch. This was the best meal and service that we have had all week. Away from the crowds, Great food, and the nicest beach close by!
