Self tour was very cool.got to learn lots. You scan QR codes and watch a video of the whole process. We also got 4 free tastings. The store sells everything to make drinks. They sell t-shirts, candies, hot sauce, all alcohol related.

Really enjoyed this distillery tour. It was a nice change of pace from some of our other favorite St. Augustine stops. The shop was really nice too and for a tourist trap, prices were great. These folks are doing a wonderful job. Congrats to them on all of the success!

St Augustine is a great distillery. They offer a free self-guided tour as well as two other options for guided and a very in depth tour. Along the way there are tastings of their various spirits. The staff is very friendly and informed on the different drinks ASD has to offer. The sugar cane base gives their spirits a unique flavor. A great day of exploring!

I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my birthday at the St. Augustine Distillery, and Eli and Angi made the experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely amicable, setting the perfect tone for the day.

Their depth of knowledge about the craft of distilling was exceptional — every detail was explained with clarity, passion, and even humor, which made learning about the process both engaging and memorable. What really stood out was how approachable they were; no question was too small, and their enthusiasm was contagious.

Thanks to Eli and Angi, my birthday turned into something truly extraordinary. Their professionalism, hospitality, and expertise elevated the experience far beyond expectations. Highly recommend a visit — and if you’re lucky enough to be guided by Eli and Angi, you’re in for something special!

My son and I toured the distillery while traveling through Saint Augustine and had a fantastic time!
The tour was extremely engaging and informative, we learned a lot, all the employees were extremely friendly in each room had a different tasting. It was a lot of fun. We actually wind up buying several pieces of merchandise in the shop before leaving.
If you are in the area, it is a free tour and a lot of fun. Definitely add it to your list!

We originally visited St Augustine Distillery the same year they barreled their first run of bourbon over a decade ago. They were bottling Gin and Vodka only. Fast forward to September 19, 2025. On a road trip up the eastern coast from Central Florida to the Virginia, DC and Maryland area, and being serious bourbon types, we stopped in St Augustine to revisit the distillery, knowing they’d made much progress in the past 12 or so years. It was a pleasure to revisit and witness firsthand their innovative developments, broad range of aged bourbons, second barreling finished bourbons, single barrel and barrel strength offerings. They even have an exclusive “Bottle your Own” program, affording us the opportunity to collect a single barrel, custom labeled barrel proof fine Florida Bourbon. Staffer Jamie was helpful, informative and friendly as she guided us through the whole entertaining process. We tasted four St Augustine Distillery Bourbons in a classroom setting conducted by staffer Dominick, who carefully explained St Augustine’s meteoric rise in prominence this industry. Dominick helped us understand how successful the distillery has been at adopting a strict farm-to-bottle approach, sourcing grains primarily grown in Florida and incorporating distilling and barrel aging techniques that maximize quality in a part of the United States that sees large daily swings in temperatures, humidity and even the salinity in that humidity, being so close to your the Atlantic coast. All these conditions have a large affect on how the distillate develops in the barrel, evaporation rates, and how long it should lay in the wood to maximize flavor, character and value. The distillery is clean, well maintained, and has all the traditional equipment necessary to produce high end Fine Craft Bourbon. They also produce several other Spirits such as rum, Gin and Vodka, as well as some custom mixer products. All in all, St Augustine Distillery has made leaps and bounds progress since opening their doors over a decade ago. We considered it a privilege to spend time with the crew that claims many significant “firsts” in Florida Bourbon. A highly recommended visit for anyone who enjoys an occasional adult beverage and to learn how it’s done in Florida!

My visit to the St. Augustine Distillery was a wonderful experience! We went on a Saturday, and it wasn't crowded, which was a bonus. The free tour and tastings were excellent. They offered a great variety of samples, including Vodka + Ginger + Lime, Rum + Tropical Mixer, Tonic + Gin, and Whiskey with a Hibiscus or Cane mixer.

The shop is a great place to browse, selling their spirits along with unique items like spirit-infused chocolates and popcorn. You can also find barware like copper mugs and measuring cups.

We also loved the on-site dining at the Ice Plant Bar. Although they had a trimmed-down menu the day we were there, we thoroughly enjoyed the chili soup and the Focaccia & Hummus. The outdoor seating was breezy and a perfect spot to relax.

Parking is available at the distillery, but we chose to park near Flagler College and enjoyed the easy 10-minute walk through the city. It was a nice way to get some steps in and stroll around before and after the tastings.

Had an awesome time learning about all of the different drinks and how they’re made. Everyone that worked there was super nice and helpful. My favorite mixer was the Tiki one.

Best Distillery Experience in Florida!

Yep another non-food review!

What a blast! From the first sip to the last, this place knows how to deliver an experience. The rum, gin, and vodka samples were great — but the bourbon? Absolute favorite. And The Saint… wow. Hands-down the star of the show.

Dominick was our guide and he crushed it — friendly, funny, and clearly loves what he does. He made the whole tour feel like we were hanging out with a friend who just happens to know everything about spirits.

The classroom is gorgeous and super organized, which made learning as fun as the tasting. I’m already planning my next trip — certification, here I come!

You're in the St Augustine area, stop by and as always, tell them we sent you!

We did a self tour through the distillery and it was very informative. Each area had staff describing the process for whichever libation station we were at. We then were offered a sample. The store sells liquor, mixes and extras. It was a great way to spend time and not only learn about various liquors, but also drink options and the chance to buy them to make at home.
